It's hard to find a book about the Pack that is bad. It's a good read for any true Wolfpack fan --a good trip down memory lane. The picture section in the middle of the book is nicely done and a good addition to the text. Would recommend for any NC State fan!

This book is so incredible. All Duke fans HAVE to have this one! The pictures are amazing and the game summaries help to keep that great Duke season fresh on the brain. With the 98-99 team soon to win their NCAA title, it makes this book all the more special!! If you don't buy it, you are a fool!

Given the major sports event that it is now, it is hard to believe that the NCAA tournament used to be an also-ran to the more prestigious National Invitational Tournament (NIT). Every year during March, statistics are published concerning how much treasure and energy are taken up by office pools on the NCAA tournament. Both numbers are enormous. This book summarizes all of the NCAA tournaments from 1939 through 1983. The summaries are brief yet fairly complete and the statistics for the two semifinal and final games of each final four are included at the end.
All of the great players from these years are mentioned in some way, from their triumphs to their disappointing play when it counted. If you are a fan of NCAA basketball and interested in the history of the tournament, then this is a book that will definitely interest you.

Moran has done a wonderful job capturing this magical run to the Final Four. Anyone who was there will relive their moments, and those that weren't will feel like they were. This is a must read for all followers of Marquette Basketball.
