Bought this for my dad, what a great book. It contains an amazing history
of UGA football and has fun tidbits tucked inside like a scrapbook.
I'd recommend this for any UGA fan that "has everything". This is one item they are sure to love.

What do you keep in a vault? Treasures? Well, this vault contains treasures for the Bulldog fan! I bought three of these and the recipients were very happy with the gift! Loren Smith is a well-known Georgia 'landmark' and has been Larry Munson's sideline sidekick for years. I can still hear Larry Munson saying, "How about it, Loren?" He has compiled a wonderful collection to bring the history of Georgia football alive for all who read it. Thanks, Loren!

Although I have no particular knowledge or interest in the University of Maryland at College Park, this history is so well written that I still found it an interesting read that was hard to put down until I had finished it. The author goes through the history of the college from its founding as the Maryland Agricultural College through the Civil War, the Great Depression, and the riots of the 1970's to today. An intimate portrait of the college as well as a trip through the history of this part of Maryland it contains many period photographs that add to the charm of the book. "The University of Maryland at College Park, a History, is highly recommended to anyone interested either in the college or the history of Maryland in general.

There is a ton of great info in this book that you won't find on a campus tour. It's the best thing I've read in terms of giving detail from a student perspective. The author told me everything I wanted to know and a whole lot more. You won't be disappointed if ou pick this up.

I got this book as a gift from my mother. I read it and it was amazing. I have been to Oxford on many occasions for many visits and such, but there was a ton of information that this book had that the average visitor would not know. It was fully of suggestions, bits of history, and unique places to go to while you were at school at Ole Miss. I am grateful for guides like these that will steer other freshman in the right direction.

I'm so glad I found such a great book that really spoke in great detail about Notre Dame. Everyone interested in the school should pick up a copy as soon as they can, because there is so much great information available inside, it's better than simply going on a campus tour. Even an overnight won't tell you all that this book has to offer. Each section has student quotes and grades, and better yet, the entire book is student written.

This book is great! It gives you the low down on everything the University doesn't tell you. I think its a great tool in anyone's college search. Bottom line: buy this book!

This is a very interesting, well-written, fact-driven book with so many incredible stories that football fans across the country will be interested in reading. It is very unique how it interacts with the Sports by the Numbers website. This book is a great read!

This is the best college guidebook, I have read, it is almost like visiting the university without ever leaving your house. A must have for every highschool student trying to decide between Pittsburgh schools. Don't settle for the typical college guidebook, go with College Prowler.

Not knowing Pittsburgh at all, or the University of Pittsburgh, I feel that after reading this guide I have a much more detailed impression of both. That's what is so great about this book, you don't jsut get wonderful info about the school and its academics/athletics.diversity, etc, but also about the area in which the school is located. I think this is also such a great read because it is written by a student at the college. Everyone should get a copy!

As a high school senior trying to decide on where to go to school, I found this book especially helpful. Nothing else I read gave me the same kind of insider info into the goings on of the school. The info ranged from academics, to nightlife, to safety and security and everything in between. If you get this book you won't be disappointed!

I wish there could have been a section about the Old Ox and Second Wind in Pacific Beach, but time has taken both of those wonderful places from us. In college (and for all the years after) I spent a great deal of time looking for cheap burritos and happy hours. Then I got contracted to write a guidebook about it. Oh yeah, and when you move off campus, live in Mission or Pacific Beach. Or downtown I guess, downtown is nice now. Don't study too hard. (or at least try to get most of it done before spring)

A breathtaking journey through the halls of academic culture. An inside look beneath the belly of the University of Utah. I found it to be a non-stop thrill ride on the guidebook express -- how refreshing, gentle reader. I'm waiting with baited breath for Mr. Whitley to make an investigative sojourn to other nadirs of Higher learning. Whitley penetrates all 20 topics from parking to safety and security with pluck, perserverence and persipicacity. Clearly, Whitley is on the prowl and there's no stopping him! I never feel LONELY on his PLANET!! It's time to LET GO of all other guide books!!!

This book has a great perspective because it is written by a student. It was the first book where I felt like the author was writing the guide for me instead of for my parents. I loved the guides for entertainment around town and all the tips on housing and what not. In addition to that of course there is a lot of info on academics and student organizations. I think everyone looking at this school should get this book. It rocks!

Having this guidebook is like having a best friend at UW to tell you first-hand all the goods and bads of being a Husky. I recommend this book to prospective students as well as current UW students, the list of bars and restaurants is great when you're looking for something to do on a Friday night. If you really want to know how youll do as a Husky, this book is your bible.

Anyone looking for insight into University of Washington should definitely check out this book. It's got everything you want to know and more. Besides that, it's well written from a student's perspective and dare I say it, fun to read. I like the student quotes sections and the bar/restaurant guide. But, no worries, it's got great info on everything academic and etc. Buy the book!

Because there are no standardized admissions requirements for veterinary schools in the US, this was an incredibly useful tool for me during my admissions cycle. Even though I had the time to mine individual schools for their information and plug it into a spreadsheet, I still found info. in this book that I had missed. Combine the opportunity cost of one's time, and it's well worth the cost.

Must have if you are planning to apply for vet school.
