My daughter bought this review text online based on its description. I happen to be a professor of occupational therapy. This review book does not cover the domain of occupational practice well, with little to no useful information about intervention planning using occupation-based methods. Further, it exceeds the boundaries of OT best practice by focusing on medication prescriptions and diagnosing. One question asks what type of medication should be suggested for thrush, for example, while another asks what type of medical procedure might be recommended for suspected melanoma. Clearly these questions are not within our domain of practice. For good study guides, students would be wise to ask their clinical fieldwork supervisors for a recommendation and steer clear of this one.

The info is skimpy and not very comprehensive. Invest the time and money into a reputbable study guide. This book looks like it was put together by a student and cardstock was used for the cover.

Not what I thought it would be, too price, I could have made my own notes and flashcards which aren't really flashcards just perferated pieces of paper, not questions to help with. Very disappointed and feel ripped off for the money. Save your $$ on a better product. Should have returned it............

This guide is rife with typographic as well as plain spelling (medications consistantly spelled incorrectly) and grammatic errors, is actually a plain white pamphlet format (I don't know where the yellow and black photo came from) that looks as if printed on a copy machine, and the accuracy of the info is in question due to the many errors. Also, though "copyrighted", there is no date (? current practice info) and no ISBN--I doubt the Library of Congress has seen this. There is no apparent pattern to the info, much of it is repetative and of little value. They seem to crank out hundreds of different study guides and just pushed the "medical stuff" button to create this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

purchased both the flash cards and the exam prep book, they are filled with useless information and are very poorly organized.

I got this book in addition to Mosby's. This book is horrible. There are typos everywhere, which makes me wonder if this information is even credible. There is no index or table of contents, and the organization of the "book" (more like a magazine) is very illogical. I would say save your money and by Mosby's instead! And there is some special website on the back page of the book -- useless. Just a bunch of FAQs and stuff.
