I was fairly disappointed with this book about teaming. I think the scripting was too long and not useful, and the commentary was although helpful at times, more like ramblings of a lecture than an introspective look into the how tos and whys. I do not reccommend this book unless you are looking for something very dry and painful.

Not only was the format difficult to follow, but there were countless spelling errors that made it difficult to concentrate and stay on track!

This book has several spelling errors on about every third page. The material is very basic when it should be specific and too specific about simple concepts that most likely won't be covered on the test. It is organized poorly with a bunch of lists in two columns that are unclearly divided along the page. It has a few good charts and a 75 question practice test at the end which are the only redeeming qualities. Save your money on a better review book because there are no real "secrets" here.

Not worth the money - this guide was obviously never proof-read. I was very disappointed with this book. MULTIPLE typos (including on medication names), but also SEVERAL errors in format - such as tests for dx listed under "s/sx", etc. (Makes me wonder if some s/sx, or tx were accidentally listed under the wrong dx!) Also, many missing "key phrases" associated with diagnoses. MUCH better guides out there!

This manual is very poorly written and poorly edited, with many typos and confusing passages. Unfortunately, although it is slapdash and egregiously overpriced, it may be the best guide available. I shopped around for a better guide, but it would appear there is not much competition in the niche. The manual is padded with 20 pages of tips on "How to Take a Test," but these pages might better have been spent providing an overview of Series 3. I haven't completed the manual yet, nor have I scheduled my exam, but it's easy to get discouraged early on. Five pages into the material, for instance, there is a passage that purports to explain the difference between "managed commodities" and "pool operators". I've read and re-read this section five times but still could not tell you what the difference is. It's obvious that the material in this book is simply copied-and-pasted from stuff put out by NFA and the exchanges. That would not necessarily be a bad thing if the information had been distilled and organized well, but that is not the case. The publisher, Morrison Media, has not even provided sample questions or a sample test. To suggest, as Morrison has in the manual's title, that this 167-page guide reveals "secrets" of any special value to the reader is highly misleading. If I pass Series 3, it will be in spite of Morrison's "coaching" rather than because of it.

This book is disorganized. It contains the information, but it is arranged in a haphazard way.

For example, it begins by explaining cash trades, moves to forwards and futures. So far, so good. But then it doesn't explain the difference between forwards and futures (counterparty risk w/ forwards, e.g.). Then option terminology is mixed in with CFTC organization and lord knows where it goes from there.

I would recommend another book: maybe the series by AI training.

Not much there. It consists of 50 pages in very large type with a paragraph title followed by a brief paragraph on some subjects. It looks like it was taken from the REG REVIEW book where you can get about 10 times as much material for only twice the price. Definitely not worth the money and it is a shame for people to spend so much for so little. It is misleading in the advertising in that so little is really covered.

If you're planning on passing the CDE exam, find another text to use for your study plan. This particular review guide has so many outright errors that you won't have a chance at passing unless you're already very well educated in diabetes education (and in that case, you don't need any study guide at all). With a falling pH listed as the hallmark symptom of metabolic alkalosis and 5 different vitamins named as B12, (and these are just 2 of multiple examples in the first 50 pages) this guide is sure to leave you irritated.

I've bought this gift bag several times in the past while shopping in Cleveland.

They are well constructed and look very nice for gifting to a Cleveland Browns fan.

One thing buyers might want to take note of is that currently the medium sized bag is priced here at $2.70 with a $6.05 shipping charge (for a 3.2 ounce bag, ouch!) while the large size is available for free shipping with Amazon Prime.

Frankly, a kids book. Thirty-two pages of triple-spaced story. Pictures on each page. Brief information about the players, not the organization. Certainly not worth the cost.

I purchased this book without researching my options, and it turned out to be a mistake. Within the first 25 pages of this book, I counted over 20 spelling,typo and/or grammatical errors. If the creators of this book are careless enough to make mistakes like this, there was no way that I was going to trust my studying to pass the NBCOT exam with this book. I would recommend purchasing the study book created by well-known OTs (ie Gillen is a contributing author) that can be purchased at therapyed.com.
