Schools and Instruction Books

I enjoyed this book. Not only did I learn how to think through the building of a database, I became a lot clearer on the data analyses for which our school and school district are aiming. I would recommend this book to anyone needing to understand databases.

Great book - I read it in one afternoon. This book is a great resource for teachers. It reminds teachers that they already differentiate for students without even realizing it. Wormeli offers great strageties for 6-12 teachers of all content areas (your not left out Math teachers). It offers strategies before a lesson, during a lesson, and after a lesson. Wormeli also included information on assessment and its relevancy to student achievement.

The book arrived on time and as pictured so I would order from this seller again. But on a side note: Even though the item itself is cheap the shipping cost will get ya!

"Disputing the Subject of Sex" is a polished but frank consideration of the intersection of educational practices and recent political theory. This book should be required reading for anyone interested in how subjects are formed in and transform communities and ideas of sexual difference. Cris Mayo is the smartest theorist of sexuality and education working today.

This book is well written. It provides A'B'C's for the adminstration of the Sunday school. It is well written and very professional and academe.

The author is an expert in the field of Christian education

My five year old daughter loves the step by step instructions and takes great pride in being able to draw the different animals in the book. I appreciate that it shows how to draw with various media. We have alot of fun doing art time with this book!

This is one of the drawing books in our collection at school.
Our students use this book along with 516 Sensational Cat Quotes, Proverbs, Quips and Jokes for Scrapbooking, Crafting and Fun to creat different class projects. We complete our drawings and add a quote to complete beautiful cards. We make copies from the original and save our originals so that we can reuse them.
I liked the step-by-step drawings.
The students enjoy the subject of cats and it makes our class time fun.

I am on my way to receiving my elementary ed. certification, and I have always dreamed of filling my classroom with art. This book has taught me how I can get my kids excited about making AND thinking about art. Herberholz and Hanson give many ideas about how to implement a quality arts program in your classroom: art production, aesthetic perception, art criticism, and art history. This book has really informed and improved my ability to create quality art expriences for my students.

It doesn't get much better than this in an early childhood mathematics book for teachers, both young and old.

Susan Smith does it again with her in-depth and unsugary look into how to instill logico-mathematical concepts in preschoolers, kindergarteners, and primary children. The research is there, but it doesn't burden you down and drawn out the methodological take on teaching.

I doubt that you will need another if you get this one. Its worth every penny of of the money.

This book not only has a lot of information about different learning techniques, but it also gives ideas for lessons and templates to use.

I'm currently in a teaching program, but not yet a teacher. This book is required for class, but I plan on keeping it for my resource library because it has so much great information for new teachers. I really enjoy the book lists inside and helpful worksheet/diagrams and examples of assessment forms.
