This book details and organizes kumite from basic (gohon kumite, kihon ippon kumite, jiyu ippon, kaeshi ippon, happo kumite, okuri ippon kumite) to advanced competition practice. This includes good photos, both in terms of techniques and various combinations. The photos are of outstanding quality, which is important in a text that demonstrates sparring via pictures. The explanations are detailed enough with an excellent layout to get the point, but not too detailed to loose the reader.
A great comprehensive overview of kumite and a useful guidebook for karate enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. A must own for anyone who loves karate and wants to improve their results.
