My daughter began to play the violin since last yr and this book make her want to practice very day.

I've been playing for 6 months and this is very difficult. Challenging but good practice.

Pero con este libro creo que aclaro algunas de ellas y sin pasar la pena de preguntarle a su mama. Esta muy bien escrito, me gusto que el lenguaje es sencillo, de acuerdo a su edad. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para aquellas mamas que no tienen una figura masculina que les ayude a explicar los cambios que trae la adolescencia en los hijos varones.

I really lieked this boek, but it is a pitty that it does not have a indecks as it is such a long boek.

I like the pictures very much, and Rembrandt is very good artists, butshould he using more of colour, as brown, also printing.

Stil, I give book four/five stars.

I am using this text for a graduate level class I am teaching about reading in the content area. It seems to be a very large overview of all of the issues facing secondary content area teachers.

This book was the best book that you can find on Portuguse. Even though I got to use it for only a little while, I learned so much Portuguse in only weeks. It starts out teaching you some nouns like The pencil, the box, and the book. Then it moves on to a little grammer. I would not sugust this book if you need to learn Portuguse in a hurry

This is an excellent introductory source for the beginning returning or experienced preschool teacher. Skills for Pre School Teachers is clear and consice written in laymans terms. It offers many resources for activites and offers titles of material for further research. This text is user friendly filled with hands on assignments and check listsd that can be adapted to almost any classroom setting. I would higly reccommnend this text for beginners, staff development as well as seasoned professionals.

As an artist and therapist who facilitates creativity groups, I found many wonderful musical exercises in this book and have used them in my retreats with great results. The author is very creative and his exercises encourage the development of spontaneity, listening to musical subtleties, and moving beyond inhibition in expression. Sometimes his take is remeniscent of John Cage. He did his work in the 1950's with children, so the context is odd, but don't be put off by that.

This book was interesting - and has some good ideas. But, most of the book is for younger grades (3-4).

It's almost impossible to pick an art book based on others opinions but I personally fell in love with this book. I'm new to figure drawing and this book is just what I need. Not only does it give step-by-step instructions for several classic poses in a variety of mediums but it also provides you with the reference photo (which few figure drawing how-to's seem to do). There aren't a lot of exercises but for the price I'm still happy. A far more comprehensive book you should definitely check out is "The Big Book Of Drawing And Painting The Figure" - it's awesome and a great bargain at amazon!
