National Hockey League Books

I loved this publication, especially the reviews of various games from the regular season, along with many good quality color photos from the games and of the team. It was a great way to recap the championship season of the Stanley Cup winners of 1999, and to keep the memories forever. "'99 NHL CHAMPS" is recommended reading (by me) for all Stars fans and hockey fans alike.

This is a fine book for al fans of the National Hockey League. It's jam-packed with full-color photographs, profiles and stats of the brightest stars in the NHL including Jaromir Jagr, Eric Lindros, Dominik Hasek and Brett Hull. A must for all hockey fans. Up-to-date information too !

I read this book about a year ago and its a great book. I never thought that I would learn about being on the Ice and yet having fun at the same time. Great book for any child that wants to be a hockey player

The most complete collection of facts, figures and statistics on the National Hockey League. As up to date as possible, considering that players are traded, and goals are scored every day since the book was published. An excellent source for historical data, and my favorite - the player directory! Every skater and goalie that is signed with an NHL club has his carreer from junior to pro catalogued in this book. No other hockey yearbook can top this one for information. Until next year when the 96/97 one comes out..

If you want hockey stats, look no further than The National Hockey League Official Guide & Record Book. Not only is it comprehensive, but the layout makes finding information as easy as an empty netter.

A must if you are involved in a fantasy hockey league

I am a die-hard NHL fan, and there is no better book than this one. Everything you ever wanted to know about the NHL is here. It includes a section on every team, and includes stats and records for all 30 teams. In addition, it tracks the entire history of the NHL season by season, as well as the playoffs. Finally, the most incredible feature is the player directory, which lists a bio and the stats of every player who suited up for a game last year. This is a must for any NHL fanatic.

This book has everything you wanted to know about the NHL teams. Although a little dated it is still up to date but off 6 years. But that is fine. This book tells you what each team's stadium seating capacity and stanley cups they won. It also shows at the back of the book the list of Hockey Hall Of Fame inductees. In this book is the history of the NHL.
