Football Books

This is a great book that displays Emmitt Smith's life and football career and his pursuit of Walter Payton's rushing record. The pictures in this book are very good since they are contributed by an official Cowboys photographer. The book also shows another side of Emmitt, his family life, that you probably wouldn't know even if you have been a fan of his for many years. By reading this book you really get the sense that Emmitt is a good man as well as being an extraordinary running back. I would recommend this book to all Cowboys fans and Emmitt fans.

I got this book because I'm a really big college football fan and I like the idea of learning how to cook better, but, truth be told, I'm not really very good at it. (I've never tailgated in my life, but love the bbq!) There are good tips in it for beginners without it feeling like the writer is talking down to you and the recipes that I've done have all come out GREAT without a lot of fuss. And the little sidebars by the ESPN guys are really funny, so I even read the whole thing. Who sits down and reads a COOKBOOK? Well, this one you can. I recommend it highly.

For the college football fan out there, this fun little distraction of a book would be an excellent stocking -stuffer. I enjoyed the book greatly, check it out.

I love Ohio State Football and this book bleeds scarlet and grey! It gives you an indepth look in to one of the best teams ever in college football history! Very nicely written and an all around good book.

Tony DeMeo's book is a complete offensive system that combinesthe best of the wishbone and Wing-T attacks in a multiple system. Thevariable blocking schemes adjust against any defense and thesuggestions that the book provide about football are well worth it. I have seen Coach DeMeo apply the principles from his book to his team and he creates an outstanding offensive attack that gets better each year. Got some undersized kids with speed, check out this perfect fitting offense. Great football coaching book

This book is a lot of fun and has a great variety of information to get you ready for another season of Horns football. Can't wait for next year's edition!

Eyeshield 21 is absolutely one of the best manga I've ever read. I recently got into it because I was previously worried if I would like it due to it being a sports manga. However, it's story is strong, it's football "action" is amazing, it has amazing characters that are instantly likeable, and I have to mention that it has some of the best artwork in the manga world. Even if you don;t like sports manga, try it anyway. It has just as much action as some other shonen jump titles, and it is just an enjoyable thrill ride. Try it! Love it! Truly Excellent!

Informative book about FSU football season-by-season from its inception in 1947 into the 1970s. Written by a former FSU histroy professor (and avid fan). Accurately captures the seasonal spirit of optimisim, pessimism, success, and failure as they occured.

Wonderfully nostalgic flash-back for those that lived through the period.

Year after year, Fantasy Football Index is one of the best publications in the industry. This year, their 20th, is no exception. Their projected stats, sleepers and busts, mock draft, mock auction, and player profiles make this magazine a tremendous starting point for your fantasy football research and/or a fantastic guide to help you through your draft. I especially enjoyed reading the article discussing what each mock draft/auction participant was thinking throughout the draft. Reading what others think during their drafts assists me in assembling my draft day game plan. In celebrating their 20th anniversary, I also got a kick out of seeing magazine covers from years past and reading highlights from years gone by.
