Greatest Rivalries is a joy to read - from the beautifully recounted stories of historic battles on the track to the abundance
of classic photographs with each turn of the page. Relive the excitement and tension of each rivalry in chronological order
from 19th century Domino-Clifford-Henry of Navarre all the way to today's Curlin-Street Sense-Hard Spun. A real pleasure!

Though the volume can be viewed as a supplement to the outstanding Thoroughbred Legends series, the 20 match-ups cover familiar
turf - Dr. Fager v. Damascus, Affirmed v. Alydar - but provides a recent, though bit of a stretch, rivalry of Street Sense,
Hard Spun and Curlin.
A succinct text and wealth of photographs is a nice exacta box, though the payout may be to those who peripherally follow racing than those who meticulously watch the "Sport of Kings." If nothing else, the stories are a great reminder that champions are remembered for the battles fought from gate-to-wire, not for the trips to the winner's circle after besting inferior competition.

In Horsefeathers' Mystery Scoop is boarding three race horses Jackson, Storm, and Melly. Scoop falls in love with Melly.
Someone is trying to hurt the horses, one night Scoop finds one horse bleeding. Scoop finds her brother BC playing with a
burnt stick and thinks he has been playing with matches. The end is very sad and I was surprised when I found out who was
trying to hurt the horses.

Larry Mac goes a great job in telling what to do to get your car on the track. He goes into the set ups and does a wonderful
job of telling how to do this stuff in layman terms. This winning former crew chief lets us see whats behind the curtain in
the world of race car team management. Great read and great reference book. I bring it to the track with me every race.

They got the title wrong but this is a fantastic resource if your are looking for information on how to build a vintage Z
or BRE trans-am 510. The product information is old but so are these cars, some of the suppliers are still around. This book
saved me a lot of time biulding a 69 510 for road racing and let me work on my driving not trying to develop a chassis from
scratch.

This book doesn't go into great detail about specific marques or engines, and isn't heavy into technical drawings or comparisons,
and won't tell you how to win at Palm Beach, but if you're weighing the pros and cons of buying and restoring a British sports
car and want to know what you're in for, this is the book for you. The author walks the neophyte all the way from choosing
the right car to maintaining his or her finished beauty, and doesn't pull many punches. It was the first book I bought after
I got my '67 MGB GT, and I still refer to it, if only for the pleasant writing style and as food for the daydreams I still
have about finding that '63 E-type.

Being the motorsports fan that I am I needed no encouragement or instruction to watch motor racing, but the British Formula
1 champ brings the sport to life in this tremendous guide. The tips were spot on and I particularly liked his advice on what
profanities to yell at the tv in the chapter "Who cares if he can't hear you?" As the author says, it's all about fun at the
end of the day, so follow his advice and "Get a keg in, take a few beers on board and settle in and wait for some tosser to
crash."

The book I bought from you was a steal as far as I'm concerned. I had no real problem understanding it.Sometimes I'd get a
little lost with details, but would just read it over. I truly enjoyed it and feel the money was well spent.
