Racing Books

This item is a combination toy and book. The book, a mere 11 pages, tells the story of a race. The toys are four fomula-1 racecars of about Hotwheels size, and a reusable, sheet plastic (approximately 2' x 3') racetrack. My son bought this item with money from his allowance, and he is very happy to have it. The cars are of a good quality (they roll better than some Hotwheels he has), and this racetrack seems like it will last. Overall we both like this item, and recommend it to you.

Nye's Cooper Cars marries exhaustive research and scholarship of the marque with an eminently readable style. A must-have for fans of Formula One's bygone years--and an excellent introduction for race-watchers who don't believe World Champion cars could ever come from the garage down on the corner.

This book is wonderful. I doubt a more comprehensive look into Cosworth is possible. This book details the entire existence of Cosworth from before it was born, right up until the date of publishing. Sadly, there is little technical discussion, only when it directly affects the company as a whole, such as when F1 changes enginre rules and such. Otherwise it's basically a biography of the company and all the people who contributed to her. Very much worth reading, though I wish there was a sister book detailing the technical side of the company from day one.

What a read! A great look into the isnight of the Uk's 59 racecourses! I particularly enjoy the criticisms made against some courses as i tend to agree with them. That Ayr racecourse needs a lot doing to it, in fact you all should tell Chris yourself, c_kennedy@ayr-racecourse.co.uk

I love this book. The pictures are great and the limited amount of writing is even better. It explains how every type a cross-country fence should be ridden. There are pictures of each type of fence being ridden correctly and with an occaisional wrong example with a short paragraph to explain what you are looking at. I don't care to read much and I don't learn well from reading, so this book is great. If I am going to school my horse and want a refresher on how to ride a down hill verticle all I have to do is pick up the book, it only takes a minute. It also makes a great coffee table book with all the pictures.

This book is exacty what it says: a training diary, very important. I opted for the online version from TrainingPeaks because I can download my ride data.

just a great book..I bought it for my 8 year old niece who does not like to read. Once she started she did not want to put it down.

I like this book, and that is my opinion. You can think what you want to but I am an avid Racing Fan/Dale Jr. fan and I think this book is perfect for anyone!

As a HUGE Earnhardt fan. I would have to say that I liked this book. It brought back so many memories of Dale and how he was on and off track. If you have not read this book, I suggest you pick it up and take the time to learn more about the GREATEST LEGEND IN HISTORY.

If you are a Dale Jarett fan, or know one, this is a must-add to your collection. It has intimate details of his family and his life growing up. There is even a little humor sprinkled here and there. Worth the oney! I got mine used through the Amazon marketpalce and am very happy with it.
