This book is a great way to get started. He does not take it too seriously and just has fun. There is lots of great basic running info.

The wonderfull thing about this tape is that there is no hype or bull. Nor will you find here 20-second solutions that get you nowhere. What you will find is straight talk on what it means to be assertive. It contrasts being assertive to being passive or being agressive and provides information to work yourself to the middle ground of assertiveness. I strongly recommend this one if becoming assertive is important to you.

I bought this book for my husband who is a horse trainer. He really liked it. He doesnt often read books, just magazines and racing newsletters. For him to comment on how much he enjoyed it is high praise indeed.

I feel that the book Athletic Fitness for kids provides a collective amount of information that is beneficial to me personally as a person hoping to create a youth athletic development program. I feel that this book will be a foundation for the movement to helping youth build confidence and skills through athletic development programs.

Drs. Rankin and Ingersoll have taken the art of management and applied it to health care. This book has a target audience of athletic trainers but it is approproiate for any health care facility. The selection and progression of chapters assists the student in learning the complex subject of management. They have done an excellent job of presenting various views in a non-partial manner. Well recommended!

If you want to truly prepare for the athletic trainers certification exam, this is THE book to get. It's complete, easy to follow, and best of all really gives you a sense of what the exam will be like. The authors' advice is second to none. Highly recommended!

This is a translation, by Joseph Crandall, of an important book by Jiang Rongqiao (considered one of the first modern writers of martial arts). The system he shows here is Mizong or Lost Track, a beautiful and authentic form of Kung Fu famous in China and hardly known outside it. When people were beginning to group arts into "internal" seriously Jiang suggested that Mizong was a candidate as the "fourth" internal art. It resembles Bagua. This book is meant to represent what was wrong (and still is) about Kung Fu in general. Jiang teaches a form but also includes discussions on real Kung Fu vs. false, why postures have to be exact, what the basic elements are, stories of real practitioners.

Our son has struggled with phonics! He struggled in the public school so we put him in a private instruction school. it did help him somewhat but he was still struggling. This year we brought him home. I bought this program and began working with him. He has made such great progress! He did not even realize but he is now able to read. He has made about a year progress in 6 weeks.
