I am curious. I haven't read this book, but someone made a quote saying that this book supported parathentesis in rabbits. If anyone has any info on this please contact me. I am in a heated arguement about this subject.

This wonderful book supercedes 'Product Innovation Strategy, Pure & Simple: How Winning Companies Outpace Their Competitors' by the same author. The latter was published in June 1995 & which in turn, has superceded 'The Innovation Formula: How Organisations Turn Change into Opportunity'. The latter was published in the late 80's.

Its principal theme, just like the earlier two books, is making innovation a learnable & repeatable disciplined business practice. In this respect, the author has done an marvellous job.

I HAVE THROUGHLY ENJOYED ALL OF THE CHILDREN"S BOOKS OF WILLIAM WEGMAN. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE WRITTEN FOR CHILDREN, I PROBABLY ENJOY LOOKING AT THEM TIME AND TIME AGAIN AS MUCH AS ANY CHILD. I HAVE OWNED WEIMARANERS FOR 35 YEARS, SO I KNOW WHAT A UNIQUE BREED THEY CAN BE. IN THE SURPRISE PARTY, WEGMAN AGAIN HAS AN INTERESTING STORY FOR CHILDREN; ALONG WITH HIS WIMSICAL PICTURES OF HIS WEIMARANER FRIENDS. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS FOR YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE.

The first of a planned two-volume work by Bryan Cummins about the Terrier dogs associated with the British Isles, Terriers Of Scotland & Ireland: Their History And Development. This is a comprehensive, 302-page "terrier social history" that focuses upon the origins of this specialized canine breed and its qualities for both practical work and as loving household companions. Each individual chapter informatively looks at a different terrier breed, evaluating its unique evolution and traits. Black-and-white photographs magnificently illustrate this fascinating and enjoyable reference which is an informed, informative, and very highly recommended for terrier enthusiasts, breeders, and owners.

If you are interested in how the breed came to be and the early bloodlines, this is a great book. Fascinating read for the serious Malamute enthusiast.

I have owned a Russian Blue and didn't know much about the breed. My wife and I are interested in getting another as a pet since they are such great family cats.

I bought this book on ebay and was surpised at how much I had to pay. It was worth every penny. This book was published in 1983 and is no longer available new. Ingeborg Urcia is an authority on the breed and her book is very informative. She is no longer living. I loved this book and it really sold me on this breed and had great advice on finding a reputable cattery and the right cat for our home.

Although you will pay quite a bit for the book, it is worth it.

If you are trying to figure out how to calm one of these beasts down, this is a good start. The pictures of the Champions are worth the price.
