Helpful! This book has TONS of stuff on horses! I like how they split the book into chapters according to where the breed came from. It took me a long time to read it, but it was worth all the time! And it is worth what you spend on it too! The pictures in the book are beautiful! I found out there are three different breeds that begin with my sister's name. A book that any horselover should read! (Or anyone who just wants to learn about horses!) P.S. Horses did NOT just evolve from nothing, GOD MADE THEM on the sixth day.

There is so little out there about Glens, this is a gem! If you are thinking of getting a Glen, or are just interested in rare terrier breeds, get this book!

I really enjoyed this fascinating book. It tells a lot about golden retrievers and i think it is a great guide to see what type of golden retriever you like

This book was purchased for a child 10 yrs of age, he and I read the book together going over different pointers for raising and learning about the Golden Retriever we got as a puppy. It was extremely informational and I recommend it to anyone who is going to get a puppy of the same breed.

I picked up this book to get some general information, and the content exceeded my expectations. Very thorough and comprehensive. I was able to learn about my goldens many facts that I had not known and was not aware I should know!! I would recommend this book to any golden owner, as it is, in my opinion, a very valuable general information and refereence book.

I have already read most of the pug pet books on the market. They all begin to sound the same. I originally over looked Goodger's book due to it's age, but it was recommended to me by a breeder. The Goodger Guide to the Pug is actually an easy read for contemporary times and I felt I got more information, closer to the source.

Obviously not an up-to-date reference but a lovely vintage book that clearly demonstrates the development of the great dane. Not a reference book for beginning great dane owners but a nostalgic look at the breed for admirers.
