guides is pictures, then this is the book for you! It's large, hardcover, well-bound, with thick, glossy pages.

I just recently returned from Australia and I visited the Aboriginal Cultural Center. I purchased the book at the center
and found it to be a good introduction to the culture and the poetry. Although the book is presently out of print, it is
well worth the effort to secure a copy. I am presently searching for additional copies for gifts. The photography and the
poetry are quite exceptional.

If you had a hypothesis that the quality, usefulness, and, most importantly, ability to contribute to profitable trading,
of trading-related books are inversely related to their price, this book would be strong evidence in your favour. At the
risk of over-selling this book, it is simply outstanding. By all means spend a lot of money on some of the better known (better
marketed?) trading-related books out there, but this book provides value far beyond its price tag.
Most books that purport to give instruction on trading techniques (trend assessment, entry and exit points, and so forth) usually include a section at the end on "money management", "risk management", or some such topic. This book turns that practice on its head; the first 51 pages, headed "Philosophy" are devoted to understanding how to become profitable, by finding the common ground among profitable traders, then explaining expectancy and how to use it to create a profitable trading approach. This section of the book alone is incredible and will change how you think about your trading.
Part two of the book (the next 100 pages) gives practical advice on applying the philosophy, with sections on defining the trend, price-patterns trading, using confluence to lower risk and increase the probability of a profitable trade, using micro-patterns, and so on.
Part three of the book applies the information in Parts 1 and 2 to real examples.
One thing I do not understand is why the author titled the book "...for Australian Stocks". The philosophy and the practical applications of the analysis are all relevant to any exchange-traded financial instrument. All of the examples are Australian stocks, so maybe thats why. On another note, I don't use all of his analytical techniques, there is enough in this book to pick and choose the techniques that suit. I believe that the philosophy as discussed in part 1 of the book, though, is non-negotiable and should be used by all traders.

There's a lot to do in South Australia: so much that it deserves a book of its own separate from just a generic travel guide
to the entire country - and Adelaide & South Australia serves just this purpose, allowing the visitor to focus on the region's
many offerings. Excellent small maps accompany clear descriptions of accommodations, eating, sightseeing, and natural wonders.
With its information-packed pages, it's a 'must' for any destination-oriented traveler planning a visit to the region; especially
for those seeking more depth than the usual Australia-wide coverage can offer.

This book details the life of a shipping investor shipwrecked off Australia's coast in the early 1800s. He struggles with
loneliness, develops relations with indigenous peoples, weds an aboriginal wife, has children -- and all the while tries to
find his way back to "civilization."
de Rougemont uses clear, inviting, inventive language to describe his triumphs and losses. No hidden meanings or complicated subtexts here; just a ripping good yarn based on this fellow's endless adventures. And no analytical coldness or floods of facts, either -- this guy lived fully and completely on every level and conveyed his triumphs and disappointments stoutly and directly.

Are the kids always fighting?
Won't clean up their rooms?
Not doing their homework?
Standing for nothing and therefore falling for anything their friends say or do?
"Survival" parenting tries to fix these situation but often at the cost of children's self-esteem, sense of accomplishment, ability to make decisions, trust level and more.
"The 10 Greatest Gifts" offers a new approach to parenting tools.
At the same time, parents consciously choose to give their children lasting gifts of qualities, value and principles that can make the difference between a life of strength and joy or a future of pain and despair.
"Thoughtful, sensitive, intelligent parenting. Just the right blend of heart and head to get the job done. I highly recommend it."
---Nicky Marone, Author of How to Father a Successful Daughter and Women and Risk
"Steve Vannoy's 10 Greatest Gifts I Give My Children is MORE INFORMATIVE TO PARENTS than Dr. Spock or Sesame Street in helping children develop as self-directed and capable adults."
