Miniature Books

Nice plates, good text, an inspiring book. Well worth the high retail price I paid for it.

Here's a how-to book whose title doesn't do it justice. Indeed it has twenty floral arrangements, with background detail for each of the six historical periods they represent, but more importantly it's densely packed with information about materials, tools and techniques that miniaturists can apply to other plants and flowers. An ideal book for beginners without being simplistic. Good value.

Rachmaninoff is a must for an aspiring pianist. Especially, the second piano concerto which is one of his famous if not the most famous pieces. I would suggest going out and reading some background information on Rachmaninoff before trying to interpret the piece.

I just received this as a gift, and I think it is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. My kids and I just LOVE the Pink Panther, and I am also a yoga enthusiast. The yoga cards are actually pretty good, and the feline focus sheet is nice, but the bendable figure is the best part. The kids enjoyed posing him in various yoga postures. I put this on my TV in my exercise room. I'm TICKLED PINK to have him!

I went to highschool with the author and was curious to see his writing! This book was fantastic! The pictures are incredible and the writing is perfect to hold the attention of my 19 month old. Even my older child was enthalled with the beautiful pictures! Way to go Roger!!!!!!

I think this is a cool book because it shows to little boys and girls and also inluding grown-ups that you should never lie. In this story, it shows what happens to a a boy named Pinnochio after he lied. I liked the ending because Geppeto finally got what he wanted a real boy. I felt so happy for Gepetto. And also at the end Pinnochio finds out that if you lie something bad is going to happen to you and if you don't lie nothing bad is going to happen. I truly like this classic!

This book gives a well round vision of Pooh and the way his brain works, not to metion his friends' brains! This little key chain follows you around, and any time you want to be cheered up(?) just open the book and you will smile. It is also perfect for those kids who always loose their keys, they won't loose them with this wonderful book!

This book is great! It's got TONS of ideas for poetry and quotes that can inspire you :) It's a great book for the budding or experienced (as myself) poet! Not to mention, it's thin and can fit into a backpack ! POETRY ANYWHERE! ! If you're a poet expert, or beginner, BUY THIS BOOK!

If you are having trouble understanding the meaning of friendship,you should read this book.When I first saw this book I thought,"Is a book this small worth reading?"But as the old saying goes,Don't judge a book by it's cover.Besides having some beautiful pop-up pictures,this book has some really interesting poems.For example,this poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson:"It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them."When I read this poem,memories of A.A.U summer basketball came flooding into my head.I remember on one occasion,about three of my friends and I had just finished enhaling about two Big Macs each.Since we were in a mall that had carousels,we decided to ride one. Now at the time we didn't realize how stupid that idea was going to be later.We all climbed onto our multi-colored horses and begin our journey into the world of sickness.After spinning around in circles about 20 times,we decided to get off.As soon as we got off,one by one we raced to the nearest bathroom and unloaded our lunches into the toilets.Afterwards, we all agreed that riding a carousel after lunch wasn't the greatest of ideas,BUT...at least we had fun.

This is a precious set of 4 tiny Pooh books (Pooh Hears a Buzzing Noise; Pooh Goes Visiting; Pooh and Piglet Go Hunting; Eeyore Loses a Tail), 2 1/5 X 3 3/4 inches, in a small paper box decorated with E. H. Shepard illustration. Though the books are small, the Shepard illustrations and printing are regular-sized, making them diminutive but not annoyingly so. I have had mine since Christmas 1977 and they are still in the little box, and though the box and books show signs of wear, this is a treasured family memento.
