Miniature Books

I used this book in a group project in my Artificial Intelligence class. This book extended the concepts introduced by my professor and provided useful tools for natural language understanding! I highly recommend this book for anyone desiring to learn about the subject of natural language and artificial intelligence.

Thoroughly meets my expectations. Easy to follow instructions. Good variety of patterns suitable for mini quilts.

I really have enjoyed this book. I like the small compact siZe.
I like the fact that there is no text and just bursts of color.
As an artist myself, there is inspiration in this book.
Because of it's siZe, I can take it with me on long trips.It
is not a book you sit down and view all at once, I have had the book
for weeks and I probably have not viewed all the images. The whimsy
in this book lends itself to dreams that you want to take in small doses.
The artist, Tim Biskup, seems to be a new good source of fun. I will
get the other 2 volumes, becuse I am anxious to see more of this artist's work.

Reiko Chiba selected six masterpieces of Japanese folding screens to produce in miniature, and included a short [11] page book (also folded like a screen) of introduction/history of Japanese screens in general, plus information about each reproduced screen. A way cool! collectible that won't eat up much space (ca. 6 x 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 in.).

The Mughal Emperors of India tho Muslims, were proud of their Mongol descent and honored both Genghis Khan (Jenghiz Khan), and Timur the Lame (Tamerlane), , as their ancestors. They commissioned Jndian and Iranian artists to create wonderful stories in pictures to honor them.This particular collection is spectacular.Anyone interested in warfare, weoponry ,costumes and armour of the Mughal era wil,find this collection a must! Better than Osprey Books! Anyone with an interest in Indian art will love it.
This Czech edition is clear and captures the colours of the originals beautifully.

I happen to be Jennifer Love Hewitt's biggest fan, and this book is great! A must for any fan. Great pictures and great facts. I definitly recommend, and the tiny size makes it perfect for your pocket so you can bring her around where ever you go!

This is a lovely story of two mice who are tired of being bullied by a cat, and so they turn to a neighboring rat, Tonchee, for help. It is well written and wonderfully illustrated. My 4-year-old enjoys this book a lot.

Mary Josephs has written a nice catch for tots. The famous Bible story is faithfully retold in a brief space with pleasing and humorous illustrstions by Benrei Huang. The little fold out tabs on each page add wit and surprise. The small size and cute shape will add delight. We purchased this for our church library, placing it and others in a small basket beside the library as little ones go to Mass. They're loving the idea of having books just for them. Big fish with a great tale enclosed.

I have just learned this book is out of print as the author has passed away. It is the most outstanding work I own.
