I have just learned this book is out of print as the author has passed away. It is the most outstanding work I own.

Spanish masterpiece that effectively uses the Naturalistic technique to portray the life of misery and despair experienced by 19th Century Spanish peasants.

I just received the score today and I'm already in love with it. What a wonderful piece!

The writing is exquisite and the print is very easy to read. The score itself is durable and, with a little pressing, lies flat on a table or music stand. It's the largest size available (which is what I prefer) and, most importantly to the starving music student, it's cheap!

A must for musicians and concert-goers alike.

ALTHOUGH THE STORY IS QUITE ABBREVIATED IN THIS 14 PAGE BOOK, THE POP-UPS HAVE EXCELLENT ACTION AND THE STORY IS COMPLETE FROM CHRISTMAS TO CHRISTMAS.

Both a child's and an adults delight, Leonard Baskin'sMinature Natural History has it all going for it. The format is wonderful for small hands, and there is no reading, just pure visual enjoyment for large minds of small stature. The vocabulary for description can depend on the viewer, and can be boundless. I cannot describe the delight of the artwork. Even the endpapers are gorgeous!

This is an excellent little book if you like warm, candid photos of a super star. Published in England for the faithful British fan. "He likes his chips drenched in ketchup." :>)

Worth the little money for a smile on your face.

This book provides great information for anyone interested in collecting Lilliput Lane cottages - I find it exceptionally helpful when bidding on ebay.

This is a great book if you are interested in Lionel train operating accessories. It describes most of the popular accessories and how to repair and service them. Great color pictures and even a price guide for each accessory. I have read this book from cover to cover and still refer to it quite often.

The only thing missing is advice on whether or not to upgrade an accessory to TMCC control for better performance.

This tiny book, which measures little more than three inches square, is proof that good things come in small packages. THE LITERARY CAT collects quotes--deep, light, comic, wry, or just simply remarkable for observation--from both the widely celebrated to the somewhat obscure, all of them concerned with cats.

The sources include Mark Twain, Colette, Leonardo DaVinci, P.G. Wodehouse, Abraham Lincoln, Lewis Carroll, Thoreau, Sir Walter Scott, Swinburne, Christopher Smart among others, and their comments are occasionally interpsersed with line drawings of considerable charm. While it will take you only a few minutes to read through the book, it is the sort of tiny book that (like a cat) tends to linger on the desk, the table, the fireplace mantle to surprise you all over again whenever you discover it anew.

The book itself is extremely well constructed with a paper cover, durable hard binding, and meticulously stitched pages. Even if you're not a cat-fancier yourself, it would make a perfect "for no reason" gift to the feline fanatic in your life--especially if he or she is of a literary bent.
