Miniature Books

I really enjoyed reading Dolls' Houses. This book is well organized and easy to read with a large number of beautiful color photos. The authors are obviously experts on the styles of doll houses through the past centurys. The presentation of doll houses starts with the 1600's all the way up to the present time. I highly recommend this fascinating book!

What an interesting book! A lot of exquiste images of the mini houses for dolls shown in the book. It is a mirror inflecting the history of dolls and the history of the countries in the past. Why not buy one and sit together with your sons and daughters showing them the miniatures of Amsterdam...:)

Very funny book. I bought it for my eldest son after seeing it on television in England. My 6-year old daughter now reads it to her 2 little brothers. They love putting their finger through the holes on the pages. It's very cute and easy to read. Definitely a family favorite.

Over the years many of us tend to forget the simple things in our life. The small miracles, and what we should be thankful for. Mary Engelbreit is a master at reminding all of us to remember, not to waste what we've been given. This book is one everyone should read, maybe it will touch your life, and make you remember whats important in our lives. This wonderful book is surely a great gift idea, and one worth recommending to others.

This is a cute model. It is smaller than I expected, but it's nice. My son, the self-proclaimed Dragon expert, likes it.

I have had this wonderful book for over 3 years and it is full of ideas, patterns and embellishments for porcelain dolls of all kinds. It is a treasure chest in bookform for dollmakers. It is also a beautiful coffee table book that interests my guests.

This book is a treasure. The actual production of the book is quite beautiful with full color prints of Mr. Dwiggins masterpieces. I purchased this book many years ago and have kept it close at hand ever since. I found it inspiring to read about and see the results of Mr. Dwiggins' dedicated efforts in this area. I have built several adaptations using the information provided in this book and found it to be quite a rewarding experience. Life like movement is a hallmark quality of the Dwiggins marionette. There is enough information in this book for an experienced technician to be quite successful in producing a working example.

This is great book, of course I have a bias , since the author is my late father. The book was written several years ago, but the art of making miniatures by hand has not changed in the past twenty years. The skill level and tools used have not changed. Buy this one if you are a handy, crafty person. Good luck

I never through that I could make any type of miniature craft. I always purchased them, but with this book I was able to. I have recommended to others.
