Wow! What a spectacular book. Dr.Jack, an excellant writer, tells stories and gives advice that any true basketball lover would die to read. A work of genious, it truely is just that.

This book is a must for all coaches and kids. It really helped my planning of practices for my 8th grade team. Coach Grawer's practice ideas are not only effective teaching methods that helped improve my players' skills, but also were fun drills that made the kids look forward to coming to practice. Many of my players now use his techniques on their own at home...away from the official practice time.

Great DVD, as it comes as no surprise. Coach K's decency, integrity, hard work ethic, teamwork, fairness, etc, all comes shining through. Coach K, "You are ONE in a BILLION;simply the BEST!" Highly Recommended; it's the only one you'll need.

The Eagle's Call is the most inspirational and thought provoking book I have ever read. This book has had a profound impact on me and has caused me to think a lot about my own life journey.

Two things that strike me the most from this book is the author's strong ability of intuition and the fact that he is not afraid to take action.

Mr. Ryan provides an interesting and inspiring account of his life journey. Reading about his life journey will encourage you to examine yours in a positive light.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION:COACHING BASKETBALL SUCCESSFULLY by Dr.Gil Smith is a compact manual designed for both coaches and athletes. Its initial appearance is enticing and readers do not wonder if they will have time to read it and put it aside for future reading. Compiled in seventy-seven pages, Dr. Smith's book may be read during one sitting, and re-read either in its entirety or with focus on selected information without time-stress. Devoid of wordiness and verbiage, this manual is entirely reader directed.

All information is reinforced at the end of each chapter by Communication Tryouts consisting of five questions that test readers' digestion of main points. This book is considered to be among the best books written on football coaching technique in the last 30 years. It is geared for more advanced football programs (larger high schools and above)... It features detailed text analysis and covers team management principles as well as in-game strategies and tactics. A book that really should be part of any comprehensive reference collection for any coach and his staff. The book is now out of print in any form and has beecome quite a sought after text.
