Having been both a player, coach and referee for many years, I found Dr. Brown's work to be a complete text on coaching youth
soccer. This handbook takes the reader through the basics of developing a new soccer club, working with parents and the
players and provides a comprehensive understanding the roles and responsibilities of the the coach, players and parents.
Included are indepth descriptions (with diagrams and photographs) starting with basic soccer movements and going through
complex team drills. If one had to pick only a single book on the game of soccer, this handbook would be it.

One of my favorite soccer books. I love how it really educates the reader about specific details of zone defense. Usually
I finish a book and wonder why certain things weren't covered... not this book; It has effective illustrations, is highly
detailed and very specific. I was happy that this book provided an in depth education about an aspect of the game. And if
you want team drills and exercises, there are many of those as well. It thoroughly educates the reader in a comprehensive
way as opposed too just a book of drills. If you want to learn about zone soccer/zone defense then trust that this book is
a must have. It could be that there are details offered about zone soccer that you are unlikely to come across otherwise.
After reading this book, I now wonder how other authorities could not offer some of this info that seems so fundamental to
zone defense. Great, great book.

there are many books out there on this subject since The Secret brought this to the forefront.
I have also read Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook another guide using the interactive workbook approach with all its many exercises reinforces and helps one follow the Law of Attraction.

I was very satisfied with this book. I wanted something that would practically give instruction as to how to achieve results
with the law of attraction and this book is it. It doesn't get into all the philosophy of it, but there are other books that
do that, which is what I wanted. Great instructional book, easy to read, and doesn't take a lot of time. I especially liked
that the worksheets could be downloaded from the author's website.

Losier's book is a good introduction to the Law of Attraction(LOA) for those who appreciate a more practical step-by-step
approach. Its easy to read and I think Losier's worksheets and examples are helpful in breaking down more abstract concepts
in a way that everyone can relate to. If you have any skepticism, about the LOA this might be a good start. You will see value
in beginning to organize your thoughts about what you want and how you feel about those things. On some level, though, you
do need to accept the workings of the LOA. Losier may gloss over these in an effort to reach a broader audience, but he does
credit Abraham-Hicks for much of his inspiration and information, so the next step would be to go directly to the source and
then your understanding of, and ability to use, the LOA will really take off. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.
Note: Many have criticized this book for its short length, but content is what matters. For the price, it is good value if you are new to the LOA, after a short read, you'll know enough to start "using" the LOA, which is the whole point.

This book is one of the best I've ever read. Some people assume that once one has what it takes to advance in one's career,
there's no stopping one. This book makes a solid case that many people who achieve initial success later reach a ceiling
that has nothing to do with their abilities - it is determined by their weaknesses. This book describes a clear methodology
for determining and addressing 20 common weaknesses. Further, the book illustrates many of these so clearly that it was possible
for me to see some of them in myself directly. Probably the best thing about the book, is that it points out relatively simple
ways almost anyone can improve their interpersonal skills. I think I'm going to be re-reading it quarterly to help me keep
these practices in mind. Fortunately the book is so well written, it's hard to put down.

Marshall Goldsmith illustrates the concept of focusing the mind on positive ways of thinking. He has provided "20 annoying
habits". He has written how they need to be "eliminated"; until your thoughts have been clearly defined. As a reader, I can
relate to most of these habits and I have a clear understanding to say "Thank you" when it needs to be said. Highly Recommended
to Corporations, Small Businesses, and future students.

Marshall Goldsmith did a wonderful job of explaining how to remain in your position of success. If you're not there yet,
you definitely learn what not to do.
This was a read that my boss strongly suggested the whole department read, however, everytime Marshall mentioned one of the 20 flaws, we all could identify a manager that had those same characteristics (and most times, it was the one that recommended we read the book!). He describes the flaws in such a way that you're not embarassed to own up to them and want to take steps to change. He also offers a perspective of the 360-degree feedback that made us realize that none of us were using it in the manner in which it was created.
Great read, great pace, it was as if you were in the room with him. Very funny and relatable. I highly recommend it to any manager that is wondering why they have high turnover in their department or why they haven't been able to forge true professional relationships with the people they work with.

Although the book title clearly aims itself at the successful managers, it is a good antidote for all who want to do better
particularly on interpersonal relationship and leadership, that previous success, no matter big or small, almost always mar
ourselves with complacency, self centredness, over confidence etc etc. Well organised with wit and good substance, it did
help improve my communication skills, till the time I forgot them all, and then pick it out for a re-read. In short, recommended.
p.s. Below please find my favorite "tactics" for your reference.
Stop asking for feedback and then expressing your opinion. pg 117
What impressed me was that when he asked a question, he waited for the answer. He not only listened, he made me feel like I was the only person in the room. pg 152
He never takes his eyes off me. Even if the Queen walked in, he wouldnt be distracted. He would stil be devoting his full attention to me. That's hard to resist. pg 153
Clinton made a point of knowing something positive about you, and without making a big show of it, saying something to let you know he knew it. In effect, he was bragging about you to you. pg 153
Once you master the subtle arts of apologizing, advertising, listening, and thanking, you must follow up - relentlessly. Or everything else is just a "program of the month." pg 161

- in your drive to be successful. I have had several executive clients who have had the "Oh my God, he's talking about me!"
experience when reading Goldsmith's candid and pointed observations. I highly recommend this book to any individual who wants
to create and sustain top level legacy leadership.

This book was right on I reviewed it many time. I gave it four stars because the book was simple and made since. Nothing
complicated. The reason it did not make 5 stars is because it only relates to people in a relationship. Not those looking.

I did not care for this book at all. In fact, I read about 50 pages from a few chapters and threw the book away. Before
you consider buying this book be aware the the author focuses a lot on the subconscious mind and emotional trauma from childhood
and how he feels these impact a marriage. The book spends a lot of time helping you understand your subconscious and how
your upbringing has screwed you and your marriage up. This may be the right approach for some people but I found it very
cumbersome and honestly quite annoying. I guess I'm just not in touch with my inner child. Books I have read and enjoyed
much more are Willard Harley's Fall In Love, Stay In Love - Excellent. The best marriage book I've read. I also enjoyed
the 5 Love Languages.

This handbook has it all. How do you get a 4 year old to throw a ball effectively? Not an easy task for someone with a short attention span an no idea what you are talking about. Swing a bat level? Why bother when you can hack at the ball like a woodsman? Tips, techniques, and pictures either teach a parent what is important, or remind him or her what they have known for so long they have forgetten to pass it along.
These are just a couple of examples of the problems I faced in teaching baseball to my kids and areas the handbook was helpful. From catching, throwing and hitting for the youngest of players, all the way through to strategy, baserunning and conditioning for older players. This book will help you get them started on the right track and help them help themselves when they are old enough to read on their own.
Talk yourself into coaching your kid's team so you can be sure they get quality instruction - only to find that the parents are the ones who drive you to give it up? This handbook can help you lay the groundwork up front that will turn your parents into assets.
I could go on and on. This book may not have everything you will ever need, but it does have something useful about everything. A great read and a great resource.
