Liz James and her family have had a fascinating life, and this account leaves me waiting for the sequel.

Highly recommended - what she has to say jigsaws in with a lot of other ideas from a lot of people. (I always try NOT to get hung up on labels, but to see if the ideas behind the labels match!)

This one's got the lot - history, hauntings, OOPAs, OOBE's, Aboriginal legends, Contact, eerie places in the outback, the dark side and the good guys......

Shane Boocock really knows his stuff. If your visiting Auckland or just a bedside traveller, this guide is a must.

This book was bought buy my Aussie wife, we've found loads of money saving and investment ideas if we were to move to Australia, if you are intending to move back read this book and save yourself a packet.. It's a small guide, but its a quality one.

"Aussie Hot" is a collection of homoerotic short stories of a very special kind of quality. Not only are the stories, as the title says it, very "hot" indeed, but they are funny (and in a delightfully Aussie "Down Under" quirky way), humanly believable (the fine characterisations of the protagonists of the stories helping to unforgettable effect), and, most unusally of all, very beautifully written, truly of literary quality, something one rarely finds in mere "porn". One laughs as one builds a mighty erection reading these beautifully crafted "tales of tail"!

It's incredible how many Aussies dominate our movies now. This is a great read about how they did it. The stars interviewed for this book are huge - Eric Bana, Nicole Kidman, Geoffrey Rush, Naomi Watts, directors and many more. The interviews are quite candid and the authors don't gush over their subjects like magazine articles do. Anthony LaPaglia and Heath Ledger's stories are particularly interesting. There's good gossip for fans, great tips for aspiring actors and directors and inspiring tales for anyone else. Another great Australian export!

This book is one of a series of National Geographic specials on different countries. This is quite a wonderful book, as are all National Geographic specials. The boards are mottled pink with bright, incised gold lettering. The front end papers feature a multi-color relief map of Australia. The title page displays a truly beautiful multi-color reproduction of Australia's seal. Almost every page thereafter is stuffed with color photographs of Australia. This is a book about modern Australia, with some historical flashbacks. The text is conversational and descriptive. You'll want this book for your Geographic specials collection.

Great book for kids through 5th grade. It's a perennial favorite in our school library. Nice photos and simple text give a fine introduction to Australia. There are other titles in the series - all are equally good.

This a great series on different countries and this book on Australia have great pictures and easy to read facts.

Great information for younger children. For teachers who do units over the continents. Easy information without the bogged down information that some books give. A must have.
