This book does a great job at illistrating USC athletics into terms that child can understand. It includes the band, different sports teams, the Coliseum, as well as sports equipment.
This book is also well contructed and can take some punishment from little ones. If you are a USC Trojan and have children, then you need to get this book.

Not every funny book is as funny as you would like it to be, and not every funny book makes you happy inside. There are kinds of funny books which in opposite make you feel that your pleasure is empty, and that you after you have laughed yourself out feel sadder.
This is the way I remember ' A Mother's Kisses' a funny book but something whose irreverence made me feel a bit not alright. It was not in any case one of those books that I put aside, and told myself I must reread, simply because it was so so enjoyable. "The Catcher in the Rye" Or "Portnoy's Complaint"
This was for me an amusing book , and one well worth reading and enjoying. But not more.

I read this back in the early 60's when I was about 14 or so. I am still laughing. You will not believe the way this guy writes.It is indescribable. If you are lucky enough to come upon a copy, buy it. You will be so glad you did. Bruce Jay Friedman is a national treasure. His take on life is at first glance quite askew..but, upon further reading, you will find that he "writes" like you "think." I've never experienced this with any other writer. Check out his other books, as well...especially the Lonely Guy's book of Life.

Wow! I just received my copy of the guide in the mail from, yes, amazon.com, and I think it's a terrific resource. It will be of use to me and my students as i work with them to gain admission to America's top colleges. A college admissions officer told me Mitchell's guide was a great resource for her, and i can tell already it will be a great resource for me as well

This book is very important for minority students. Unfortunately, it is now 2006 and this version was published in 1996. Minority students need to know about colleges and how they can be accepted on campus. They also need to know the groups on a college campus in which they can seek support and help when needed. I hope that a new version comes out at some point so minority students have somewhere to turn.

Great history of NC State with tons of wonderful pictures capturing the lives of NC State students over the course of time. Nice condition, fast delivery, and no problems!

I dont know how he did it, but Burke Salsi Jr. somehow made the history of NC State interesting. He really just has a way with words. This book is a finely crafted work of art!

This book can be a dry read a t times, there is a lot of information in parts but it helps focus your observing of young children.

If for research or documentation you have the need to observe children, this book will serve as a detailed guide to that process. It includes recording routines, a children's use of materials, peer interaction, child-adult interaction, play, adult-directed behavior, language, and finding patterns.

This is, by far, the most imaginative and compelling collection of Buckeye football trivia and memorablia around. This has provided endless hours of joy and is the PERFECT gift for any Buckeye fan. The same "vault" series is also available for Michigan and Notre Dame fans --- but why would you ever be caught buying that?!!!!

This is an interesting collection of Buckeye memorabilia that you will see nowhere else but a museum.

If you're a die hard Sooner fan (and God knows - we all should be), this book will take you back to the beginning of it all. Very interesting. I highly recommend for every true Sooner fan.

We bought this book for my brother-in-law (who is a die hard OU fan) for Christmas and he absolutely loved it!!

Taking this trip back in time was particularly sweet. The story of this family struggling to do the right thing, finding different ways to achieve success is an inspiring one. I found a renewed faith in the goodness of distant generation.

One of the joys of reading is losing yourself in a good story. The fact that the story is based on truth makes it even more delectable. Set in the Victorian era, the women of the Raub family become connected to women of all ages as they rise to the challenges of life's trials with God's grace and human fortitude. My spirit was enriched as I rapidly turned the pages of this remarkable book.

I read this book in one sitting. It is a must read for any high school graduate - not just those going to college. Tabb does a great job identifying the strange feelings that everyone experiences as they transition from high school to adulthood, and the process of making a faith that has been shared by many - thier own. Parents and youth pastors should read this book as well!

This book really captures the spirit and essence of what is the Penn State Blue Band. I've marched in the band for 3 seasons and have, at times, tried to describe the exhiliration of the pregame show, or the dedication and pride I felt when I donned the uniform. This book does that perfectly. As years pass, and my memories fade of my experiences in The Blue Band, I will have this book to call upon, and help relive some of thos moments.

A fascinating and easy to read history of the Penn State Blue Band. There are some truly amazing photographs. I highly recommend this book!
