Excellent hometown cookbook with all recipes triple-tested. This is one with food that people really eat. Beautiful cover. This should be a definite addition to your everyday cooking collection.

This is an excellent book for any collection. It is a wonderful collection of history and terrific recipes. Each recipe is a family tradition. Home cooking. Stories of Eisenhower and other Denison VIPs. Great railroad theme. Try the banana pudding recipe its the best and easiest!

My son and I share a catering business, and this is our favorite cook-book. Every recipe is tried and true, and uses ingredients that are easy to find. I was hoping to get another copy of "Dinner on the Diner", because I have a hard time keeping up with mine(It is always at his house)! I guess being from Tennessee makes this book more special; and the fact that we actually did get to have "Dinner on the Diner" back in the early 1980's, and spend the night on one of the sleeping cars. I like the recommendations for different types of parties,as they are always such great sounding menus. We have many favorite recipes that we use from this book. If it were still being published, I would recommend this book to all of my friends....well,maybe not, as I don't want them to know "ALL" of my secrets! muffin mccarty5

Michael Cieslinski has thought of everything in designing this game. Weather condition, different umpires, ballparks, and the element of chance all play a role in deciding the outcome of the game. Rolling three ten sided dice and comparing the result to the complex, but very easy to read, player and ballpark charts gives the result of the play. You will need a set of game charts and dice which the publisher will send you for free after you purchased the game book. It's not a cheap game, but for true baseball fans, this is a game you won't be able to stop playing with yourself and your friends. The publisher by the way also maintains a web site which lists other people and Dynasty Leagues around the world seeking additional players.

I am a dutch decendent of Holland, MI and I was given this cookbook as a wedding present twenty years ago. I still use this cookbook on a monthly basis. I think that it is great! The banana bread and pig-in-a-blanket recipes are classic!

An excellent book for those considering using solar or other alternative power sources. It's also useful for folks wanting to know how to use a generator or other sources during power failures or wiring their home for standby use.

this book will entertain the baseball fanatic for hours...it is especially useful, if you are researching your town or city's involvement with America's pastime... i highly suggest you give a copy to anyone that you know that has played professional baseball...
