Virtually all the printed information about the Wisconsin Dells can be catagorized as promotional, an attempt to sell something rather than inform. This book fills the resulting gaps.

Lodging and attractions are rated by kid appeal, couples appeal, and seniors appeal. Helpful phone numbers and maps are included for more information. A good buy for planning a trip to the dells.

I bought this book for my husband who loves the state of Wisconsin....but he flipped through it and hasn't touched it since....not sure if this is a good book or not??!?!

I was looking for a simple narrative describing Wisconsin's Civil War role with specifics on the 8th infantry regiment. The historical review presented was perfect and included specific regimental stories. The black and white photographs are crisp and clear. A great find!

Everyone associated with this Project are forever appreciated for their priceless contribution of memories and 1st hand knowledge of a period in American History and a gruesome, Historic War, which shamefully, was FORGOTTEN Before and 'Ever-after' it ended which makes for a National Disgrace for our Government and Education System which virtually made out as if it isn't even a footnote in our HISTORY!
