Organization Design

This book is one of the most helpful references I have found on organizational design. The authors write from a perspective of "how to" and years of experience are gleaned from their writings.

Designing new plants and re-designing existing organizations are covered with detail. This book is more than how to design teams in an organization. This book is about designing organizations to maximize employee performance.

I would especially recommend this book for organization VP's, plant managers, human resouce specialists and line managers.

I played for the Mets in the mid-sixties. Bill Ryczek has written a very enjoyable account of the early days of the Mets. It brings back some wonderful memories of the highs and the lows of that period.
I enjoyed the quotes of players and their stories of the New York baseball community.
Most common quote - "I wish I had enjoyed it more when I was there." Thanks for the great book.

You don't have to be a fan of the Mets, (like me), to enjoy this review of the New York Mets 2006 season that took them to the verge of the World Series. Just enjoy the wonderful baseball photography, the action pictures are excellent. This soft back book just goes to show you, you don't need to buy an expensive hardback to enjoy reading about your team and perusing the wonderful pictures throughout. A great purchase and I'm not even a Mets fan!!!!

If you like antiques, quirky experts (nobody can do quirky like the British!), and fabulous finds, you will love this book. You do need to have seen the British version to appreciate it though - I don't know if there is an American book equivalent to tie up with their version of the show.

Dear reader,

I have written this book on Apostolic Team Ministry to create an understanding of the context in which apostolic ministry is called to function in the church today. As such, this book is functional in nature. It is an easy read containing practical principles to release genuine apostolic ministry in the earth.

Within the pages of this book, you will learn how to build an apostolic team, what an apostolic team's source of power is, why apostolic teams are important and how they release both tremendous power and wealth to the body of Christ.

If you are looking for a book on apostolic ministry that can help you understand the importance of true apostolic ministry and enable you to begin to walking in it today, then this book is what you are looking for. It is a must read for anyone who is interested in moving in the apostolic.

This book does not rehash what other authors (John Eckhardt, Bill Hamon or David Cannistraci) have already written regarding apostolic ministry. Rather, it is genuine revelation concerning the practical applications of apostolic ministry in the body of Christ today.

It is well worth the price of the book!

A must for Chiefs' fans. An interesting history lesson as well as all the top games in the great Stadium's history. You could swear you were back in the stadium for the Montana-led Chiefs vs. the 49ers game. The hundreds of color pictures alone are worth the price of the book!

As one of the members of the Arsenal Ship Government team, I was pleased to see the comprehensive and frank insights to the program provided by the book. Rand Corp was hired by the program office at the beginning to document what was a ground-breaking experiment in Navy ship acquisition and they did an outstanding job of capturing the complete story. They pull no punches in describing the program's development, with views from both industry and Government, and the reasons for its ultimate demise. Everyone interested in Naval history will find this a fascinating read.

Very good practical advice for business growth
Helpful Votes: 2 out of 2 total.
Review Date: 2004-10-13
I appreciate the format of the book, which provides perspectives from many different types of retailers and of many different sizes. Very interesting to see the different problems confronting each, as well as which issues confront all. Even better, though, is the approach each takes to common problems. Only history will show which ones are most most successful, but all in all a good book for people looking for ideas on how to grow their own retail operations.
