I've read hundreds of books trying to answer many of life's plaguing questions. What Dr. Walker has done, is to put into one volume the important information from all those many books. He has worked tirelessly over many years researching and uncovering facts to bring to the reader the scientific evidence available on many topics regarding vital force energies. This vital force is key to who and what we are and also to what we can be. Dr. Walker has written this book in a style similar to the Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. If you enjoyed Talbot's book, you'll love this book even more because Dr. Walker keeps the reader turning pages almost as if you are reading a fast-paced mystery novel, all in a simple-to-understand language. A great go-with book if you enjoyed the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know? Topics covered include everything from cold fusion to the Egyptian pyramids; the power of prayer to heart transplants; psychokinesis and ESP to the Cydonia pyramids on Mars; Ch'i Gong; Tai Ch'i; chakras; holographic images; Kirlian photography and something called orgone; scientific discoveries and inventions from the Wright brothers to William Reich; Edison to George Lucas. All this and much more crammed into the book's 450-plus pages. Underneath the wealth of information in this book is the story of what happens to scientists who provide facts against the status quo of the scientific community. The reader discovers that many of our greatest questions about life have been studied, but the answers have been repressed, destroyed, and discredited. This is one of those books you will want to keep within arm's reach. One of my top 20 favorite books of all time.

Also known as Hellcatraz, journey through the now deserted corridors of the world famous penitentiary. Visit the cells which once held "America's Most Wanted". The history does not begin or end with the use of Alcatraz as a prison, for it was known to Native Americans as a place that contained evil sprits. Ghostly manifestations and paranormal sightings have occurred since it was used as a defensive fortification in the 1850s. The pain, isolation, punishment, and resulting deaths appear to have been indelibly etched in the walls, cells, and corridors of this legendary prison --- Read the book and find out abot the ghosts of Alcatraz from an ex-warden's wife. Enjoy!

This is One Haunted House book carefully written with accuracy for the intent of education as well as entertainment.

Fantastic pictures document insightful accounts of life on Alcatraz from it's first discovery through the Civil War years, the penetentiary years to present day.

Just as attending Mr. Kouri's lectures, reading Haunted Alcatraz will expand your conseption of the Supernatural through the integrity and professionalizm of a True Parapsychologist.

Haunted Alcatraz teaches one not to fear Ghosts, rather to learn from their existance in an effort of guidance towards final peace.

Haunted Alcatraz isn't just another book about creeking floors, flying objects and poltergeist activities, but a comprehensive study about the past and the present through personal true to life accounts.

This is a great read if you are at all interested in the paranormal. Written by a parson in England who explains how he came to be involved with a small group of people who help send troublesome spirits 'on their way'. The stories are written in a down to earth manner and are very believable. There is no reason to be scared of ghosts, they give you proof, dont they, that there IS life after death...

If you are a skeptic, or know one who does not believe in ghosts or as A. Roberts describes them as "earthbound spirits", this book will "definitely" change your view. With personal accounts from a vicor from the Church of Wales, these encounters with the spirit world are exceptional educational literature for everyone. I have personally been to many of the places referred to in this book, such as Rhyl and Anglesey. This book alone, has sparked an drastic spiritual interest in the spirit world that is impossible to shake. The stories span several decades and will live in your memory for years to come, guaranteed!

A "must read" for those enthralled by real ghost stories.

"Holy Ghostbuster", written by retired parson Reverend J Aelwyn Roberts, is a serious, yet light-spirited account of the supernatural contacts made by the Reverend during his tenure as the Director of Social Work for the Diocese of Bangor, England.Called upon by parishoners to help them rid their homes of frightening and troublesome unseen inhabitants, the Reverend Roberts learned first hand that physical death is not the end of our journey. Recounted with an easy but critical style, the Reverend's brushes with the supernatural will leave the amateur ghost hunter spell-bound, while leaving the appetites of the seasoned spiritualist thoroughly satisfied.

Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, this book is a great find for anyone interested in a study of the paranormal and occult. The book written by skeptics, but I got the impression throughout the book that many of the authors would actually love to be proven wrong! The articles in the book give the reader tools to analyze in a scientific, logical and rational way any paranormal claim. Each article is well-written and thought-provoking.

My personal opinion is that it is possible for things to exist outside of the ability of science to explain or categorize. If you agree, you will probably find that you often disagree with articles in this book. But disagree or not, it is intelligent and though-provoking and a must-read for anyone who is seriously interested in the study of the paranormal and occult.

This book will definitely make you think, and that's ALWAYS a good thing. I recommend reading the book with a friend or partner so you will have someone with whom you may discuss the ideas presented.

This sounds like a fascinating series about different Irish goddesses being sent to earth one by one to help save their once-powerful father, the Dagda, from extinction. I loved the first in the series about the goddess of sexuality who has only fourteen days to find a mortal to fall in love with her and begin the adventures that will restore the Dagda's powers stolen by his arch-enemy. This author skillfully brings characters to life with wit and charm. Thoroughly delightful. I'm looking forward to reading about the next goddess in the series.

It has Irish magic and goddesses with powers, interesting heros, exotic settings, believable characters, evil fairies, and above all, love that can conquer all thru time and space. This is the first of many more to come by an imaginative author.

Jade and David are house sitting their grandparents' home in Charleston. David is earning money for college, while Jade is trying to sell her paintings at an art festival. Elaine, Jade's best friend, is also staying with them, and David finds another college friend, Matt, who also comes to stay at the house.

Everything is going great until jewelry and clothes are either missing or moved. While having a barbecue, hamburgers and vegetables fly suddenly all around them. It turns out that the house is being haunted by Phoebe the ghost.

Phoebe was Jade's great aunt who had a tragic life -- her death happened on her wedding day. Phoebe gives Jade the task of finding her and her groom's wedding rings so she can rest in peace.

Matt and Jade start to look for the rings but then Jade's ex-boyfriend, Kurt, shows up. Kurt is a real piece of work and starts to stalk Jade.

This was a roller coaster of a story and I enjoyed every minute. I liked the relationship between Jade and her big brother. During the course of the story they end the relationship they had as children and start a mature adult sibling relationship. There isn't any blood or guts but the haunting can be quite scary when we don't know about Phoebe. Kurt is very scary, as well, realistically so. There is also a good romantic twist which is fun. So this Halloween or at anytime, do yourself a favor and read LISTEN TO THE GHOST!

Review Date: 2007-08-06
The last tale of B.A. Tortuga is a vamp tale. An old vamp tale to the rhythm of blues. You can feel it bit in every words and it's a crazy rhythm.

Vance is a scarred ex cop who now works for a man known as Colonel. He hunts vampires. He receives orders and goes on mission. He is not particular fond of vampires but neither hates them. It's only his work. Then he meets Clay, a vampire like no other he has met before. He feels a powerful attraction for this man. And Clay seems incapable to stop biting him and makin love to him. And he is not adverse to the idea.

And then there is Remy, a sweet little Cajun man who has always cared for Clay, cause Clay is family. And now that Clay has met his mate, Remy is a little bit sad, not angry, is not in his nature... but maybe Gryphon, another vampire, much older than Clay, can make him feel better, a lot better.

Till the mid of the book, I feel partial for Remy and in second stance for Vance. They are very different, but very lovely both. Vance is a wounded man that has not finished to believe in justice. He is angry to the world, but he is still a good boy. And he works only for the Goods. Instead Remy is a little hot thing, all sweet and caring; he has not an ounce of malice in his body, maybe he is a little wicked, but in the good meaning of the word. He only has yet to find his soul mate and until that moment, he can be a good buddy for Clay.

Clay is the good boy. Only he is a vampire. He is so good, I can find nothing wrong in him. But I'm not so fond for good boy. So maybe this is the reason why I cheer up when Gryphon makes his appearance. He is a real man... ops vampire. He is strong and protective, he takes what he wants and now he wants Remy.

So in the end the supporting characters, Remy and Gryphon, steal the scene to the main characters, Vance and Clay. And all of them contribute to create a fast paced story, full (as always in the B.A. Tortuga's story) of hot sex, that is not never a bad thing.

Exhilarating vampire erotica

Review Date: 2007-07-28
Tortuga has give us 4 very appealing characters in this vampire tale which is quite different from the usual. We have Vance, an ex-military man with a dark past now hunting vampires for a living. His latest target is Clay, a vampire hunk with a long black cadillac, who quickly turns the table on him. Then there is Remy, an endearing Cajun who looks after Clay, and being human he has his advantage during the day. They started off as a threesome and here I do feel for Remy as he is somewhat neglected by Clay. Then along comes Gryphon an ancient vampire who claims Remy for his own. The sex is of course steamy and hot, with all the blood, animalistic and sensual bites. The plot is one roller coaster ride as this threesome who were hunted turned into a foursome on a vengence. There are some wild and wonderfully crazy moments and you just have to love the hearse (chuckle). The plot could have delved deeper into Vance's past, both vampire's background and the reasons behind the vampires' hunt and the ending parts are somewhat rushed. But as a M/M romance, the chemistry and interaction among the four guys makes this one sensual and enjoyable erotica.

The Lost Temple of Karttikeya- A Joyfully Recommended Title

Brandon King, as a cop, should have been able to see the signs of an abusive relationship, but it's really hard to see what is going on with yourself. Now he not only has to face this, but take in the fact that his lover and partner just wants to keep him on the side as a hidden secret. Brandon still does not want to believe he was just a guilty pleasure to be easily discarded, and when a chance to get his heart's desire comes his way, Brandon decides to try and keep his lover.

Christian Carter is the hunkiest archaeologist that Brandon has ever met. Brandon needs Christian's help if he is to find the temple and make it safely into and out of the jungles of India. Christian eagerly agrees to accompany Brandon on this quest, but he has more reasons other than wanting to get to know Brandon better and the thrill of finding the unknown. These other reasons he is keeping from Brandon for now.

Brandon quickly finds that Christian is more than he hoped to find in a lover and finally accepts that his prior relationship was a mockery of love. Passion brings out feelings that just might be forever, when Brandon learns of Christian's other reason for coming. Not wanting to be used again, but wanting to give the benefit of doubt, the journey continues. Finding the temple and getting inside means danger and possible, maybe probable, death for both. The budding love between Brandon and Christian just might be the key to let them achieve their heart's desire, if they can trust each other enough.

It is almost impossible to describe all the emotions that The Lost Temple of Karttikeya makes you feel. I will say that Brandon had me from the very beginning and I just wanted to see him find the real love that seemed to escape him. Then there was Christian who showed Brandon the wonder of a real love and relationship. There were times that I wanted to hug both of them and then I wanted to turn around and slap them both for being so stupid. I watched as Brandon and Christian discovered passion, found love, and almost lost it, fight for it, and finally observe just what the miracle of a true heart's desire can bring.

Ms. Baumbach brought Brandon and Christian not only to life, but made them people I would love to know. That alone show the quality of the words and how they were put together. When the strength of emotions, which leap off the pages at you, are considered and added to the mix, there is very little doubt that I would consider The Lost Temple of Karttikeya one of the best books I have read in a while.

Laura Baumbach adds her enstalment in the Collector series by Loose Id.

Brandon is a young gay cop. He has a relationship with his older partner Phil. But Phil is a gay in the closet, worse he is also a cheating man, using Brandon as "mistress" while he has a betrothal in course with a woman. Brandon accepts all cause he has a deply sense of abandonment and fears to be alone.

But then he is convinced to leave on a search for an ancient artifact, the amour statue of Karttikeya, who legends say grant every heart's desire and in his search he is mated with Christian, an handsome archeologist. Christian is Brandon's perfect man, protective and loving and has no fear to commitment. Brandon soon changes his heart's desire: he no more wants Phil's love, he wants this man, Christian.

As always Baumbach's sex scenes are hot and detailed but I find in this novel a novelty in her style: even if Christian is a huge man while Brandon is the cute type, during love (and I don't mean only sex, I intend also during the day-by-day relationship) the alpha male's role is not as clearly assigned to Christian; the man is willing to play also the bottom's role, and Brandon likes, sometimes, to hold the reins in the relationship.

And the plot is also more adventurous, and departs from the usual one-to-one's love story. Interesting supporting characters (I don't speak of them to not doing spoilers).

Whew! Sizzling!

"The Lost Temple of Karttikeya" is the final installment of a series of long novellas from publisher Loose-ID. [...] The Collector is searching for the pieces of a mysterious artifact known as "The Love Totem." Each piece has the ability to grant a heart's true desire, and each novella follows the search for a piece. However, it is not necessary to read any of them to enjoy or understand this story.

You know it's a Laura Baumbach romance when the story starts with a hot sex scene on the very first page, and continues on for several more pages! Brandon is a cop. His partner and lover Phil is in the closet and engaged to marry Susan. He's callous of Brandon's feelings and keeps their relationship secret, but Brandon is desperate for commitment and lets himself believe all Phil's excuses. Brandon is devastated when actions speak louder than words about Phil's true motives. When Brandon is given the chance of a lifetime to find the last artifact for the Love Totem, he seizes it thinking to save his relationship with Phil. But, he'll need an expert in archeology to succeed. Enter Christian. Christian is well regarded in his field, and sexy as hell. And he knows Brandon isn't in love with Phil, he's afraid of being alone. Christian just needs to convince Brandon to take a chance with him. And when things take a dangerous turn on their expedition, their true feelings for one another may be the only thing that saves them.

Like all of the author's novels, this one is packed with piping hot sex scenes. And the ones between Christian and Brandon will have readers squirming on their sofa. To say sparks fly between them would be an understatement. When Brandon finally lets Christian into his heart, it's love at first sight. His thoughts become quite poetic, and it sweetens the sex. Thankfully, Baumbach is one of the few M/M authors that can manage love at first sight without it being ridiculous. They aren't teens just coming out, they have lives and careers. And, the expedition to find the statue is a great backdrop for their budding romance. The tension and danger explode when they find the Temple...and it's guardian.

Overall, this was a fantastic erotic romance with an exciting adventure story. The main characters are very appealing, especially Brandon. He's a good cop, but his relationship with Phil has made him vulnerable and a little insecure. When he realizes this about himself, the moment is bittersweet and enlightening. These men are on equal footing with one another, and their actions throughout the conclusion bear it out. My one slight disappointment was that readers never see Phil again. On the one hand, that works because the story is really about Brandon and Christian. On the other hand, the petty vindictive part of me wants Brandon to throw his new love in Phil's face!

Highly recommended! (Though I have to say, I preferred the original e-book cover).

Katrina's days are fraught with wedding plans to a man she doesn't love. Her nights are haunted by highly-charged erotic dreams of a man she's never met. Is it any wonder she seeks relief with a therapist?

There is no cure for Katrina's disturbing dreams. No cure for her torment except to remember the creature she'd once been. Her nightly encounters are not dreams. Her true soul mate is the ruler of an undersea kingdom. If she cannot recall her true Bandaran form and rejoin with Lord Ranek, the consequences for both of them will be tragic.

Liquid Dreams simmers with erotic heat. Cathryn Fox entwines the lovers' highly-charged encounters with each story development, every arousing dream of Katrina's sea god divulging more answers to her search for truth. It's life-or-death stakes for Katrina and Ms. Fox keeps readers at the same level, sifting through Katrina's memories with the clock ticking ominously. A sinister member of their ancient love triangle threatens to destroy Katrina's tenuous hold on happiness, weaving a current of dread throughout the story.

Cathryn Fox creates an intoxicating world where love reaches through the restraints of space and time. I look forward to the next offering from this beguiling new voice in erotic fiction.

This is truly an amazing well written erotic romance book. Cathryn Fox chose wonderful characters for her book. From the beginning to the end this book grabs you. This book will have you wanting to know what happens next. You would not want to put the book down.

Katrina has these dreams about a sea god name Ranek in her dreams Ranek makes wild, erotic love to her. The love scenes in this book are hot and steamy. When reading this book you will need a bucket of ice by you to cool you off.

Now Katrina has to decide if Ranek is just a man of her dreams or is he from her past, present, or future. This is the first book I have read by Cathryn Fox and I am looking forward to reading more books by her. I loved this book and I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Erotic Romance with some really hot love scenes.

Dr. Jasmine "Jaz" Quinlan loves the sea and everything in it, and it's her life's work to care for the marine creatures of the deep. When a pod of dolphins beach themselves because of a mysterious bacterial infection, Jaz then makes it her objective to find out the problem as well as the solution. Jaz feels real physical pain when she sees a dolphin die and she doesn't want to lose anymore. When she is introduced to Dr. Trey Sanders, Jaz sees him as a spoiled rich boy from old money that's only going to get in her way of helping the dolphins.

When Triton finds out that yet another pod of dolphins are getting sick, his brother Ronan--better known as Neptune, guardian of all things in the ocean--informs him that he needs to go to the surface to find out what is going on. Disguising himself as a land dweller named Dr. Trey Sanders, Triton sets out to see if Jaz really knows what she is doing, and if she has the skill necessary to care for the dolphins. Triton/Trey finds more than he thought he would with Jaz, so much so, that it scares him and he acts strangely towards her; confusing both of them in the process.

Dolphin's Playground is an excellent story. I felt kind of sorry for Jaz, because she's trapped on land and dealing with people, when she'd love to do nothing more than to jump into the water and disappear. Her dedication to helping the dolphins is the only thing that surpasses her love of the water.

When Jaz and Trey first meet, the intensity from Jaz's instant and fierce attraction leapt from the pages. I knew then, that something big was going to happen between the both of them and I couldn't wait until it did!! Trey is so sexy, I'm more than willing to move and live in the water for him! I'd even take his prickly brother Ronan. Maybe Mrs. Burton, you will give Ronan a story?

Trey's bias against humans confuses him when he's instantly attracted to Jaz, but he fights it. I found myself getting upset at points with his bullheadedness, and then I felt sympathy because I understood that his past hurts are what clouded his feelings and judgment toward Jaz. When Jaz and Trey finally get together their joining is so intense that it curled my toes and I was left speechless...well speechless after I let out a shout of `Oh Yeah!'

There are many good points I could share about Dolphins Playground, but if I say them, then it loses its spice and surprise. Go out and get a copy now and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!
