Sharp maps, all of them are four color. The authors even included maps of the towns along the trail. Nice for finding trail heads and local parks.
They included a lot of tourist type information like lodging, camping, local festivals and events and other activities for when you aren't on the bike. The road loops are a nice touch. Ride one way on the trail, then return on a road.

This is great to use in combination with the Big Book of Coloring Pages, if you have a wide span of ages to teach. I used to teach 1st through 3rd grade Sunday School. I had found that my third graders were tired of coloring pages, and they liked the puzzels and games better, and that my younger ones prefered coloring. If you need a "filler" in Children's Church or Sunday School, and you don't have the resources or time to do crafts, this is a great tool to use. There are puzzles to go with almost every applicable Bibical concept for kids, and they are all reproducible, which means some saved dollars. I find that it is better for grades 3 and up. But if you have younger children also, you might want to give them the coloring pages instead. Or, you could have them do them as "homework" to review their lesson (and give them a little prize when they bring it back the following week).

I had bought this book used, but it is worth buying brand new. It has all kinds of suggestions for teaching kids about the Bible. If you are tired of your same old curriculum and need something fresh once in awhile, this is for you. It has all kinds of games and suggestions of incentives to teach kids to memorize the books of the Bible. It also has games and suggestions to help kids get more familiar with their own Bibles. The whole book is reproducible, so just one could be used for all of the young Sunday School classes at your church. Although I am not teaching Sunday School anymore, the other teachers are still enjoying this book, and gleaning valuable things from it. If you do not teach Sunday School but want to make a Sunday School teachers' day, please donate a wonderful resource like this for them to use.

I am so happy with this book--there are so many useful puzzles in here. They are also organized wonderfully. There is an index searchable by story, verse, skills covered, or topic. The extension activities allow for higher level thinking, so it is a great tool for gifted students as well. I ordered this for homeschooling, but I will also use it at church. I highly recommend this book!!

Written by Margie Rutledge for young readers ages 9 and older, The Busybody Buddha is an exciting mystery about Abigail, Jacob and Ernest, three young people whose enjoyment of summer vacation is interrupted by an ominous message delivered through a small stone buddha. A sometimes whimsical, sometimes serious story of solving puzzles and overcoming challenges. Also very highly recommended is Margie Rutledge's first novel showcasing the adventures of Abigail, Jacob and Ernest, The Great Laundry Adventure.

This is without doubt the best book written on the subject of house purchases in Italy. It shows deep knowledge of the history and culture of the country and the variety of its regional cultures. In all respects save one this is an improvement, if such were possible on the two previous ones. These are maybe bad times, with a weak dollar, for Americans to be buying in the Euro zone, but if you want to buy in Italy get this book.

My family recently flew on a plane-it was so fun to flip through the pages of this book and see my child's reaction. "Plane!" She loved seeing her favorite character be just like her!

I ESPECIALLY liked this 'Michelle & Friends book because it had a COOL story & FUN activities! I wonder what kind of story the author of this wonderful series will cook up next!

Laurie Friedman has done it again! Mallory is back, headed to summer camp and as usual, has a plan on how everything should work out...she'll bunk with her best friend Mary Ann and have wonderful adventures. And as usual, life throws her a curveball in the form of Carine, her bunk mate and oh, so annoying new friend. Friedman has such an ability to find stories that will resonate with kids. All the camp details are on point and the themes in this book are universal for kids and adults as well. Not to mention the fact that the book is fun, fun, fun! Pack this one in your duffel!
