I am a Girl Scout leader and I am always looking for craft books with nice craft items and have easy to follow instructions. I borrow this book from the library and was quite impressed. This book has wonderfull picture instructions for all their crafts. A child of 7 years and up would be able to follow most of the instructions without the help of an adult. The basic skills they teach can be built on to higher levels of crafting. They do a webbing project which is good for beginning sewing, easy and colorful cross stitch, simple doll making, beginning knitting (the best instructions I have seen for beginner), marble paper, printing patterns, and other paper crafts. I am impress enough to purchase one for my collection.

Outstanding basic textbook on Admiralty Law. Excellent review of what the law is, as well as a statement of what the trends have been. Materials, including Editor footnotes, also provide interesting background information, which gives a flavor for the law and for the history of shipping. For example, the book discusses the role of the international maritime organizations and the international conventions in the development of the law, as well as how U.S. courts treat these developments. Some of the areas covered are fairly straight forward, others are quite complex and may require careful study to absorb. However, this complexity is a reflection of the subject matter, not the author's ability to cover it. If you are looking for a good basic reference, this is it.

Professors Gunn and Ward have produced one of the best textbooks for any area of the law. The cases are tightly edited, and the narrative makes complex rules easily understandable. This is worth reading for anyone interested in tax -- it explains basic and complicated concepts equally well.

It was very useful to finally have access to the current Cayman company and trust legislation. There are lots of summaries of the law available, but the full text of the actual statutes has not been generally available until this book. Now a tax planner can make his own decisions as to what is the best structure, and what legal options exist, and then ask a Cayman firm to implement the decision, instead of relying on high-priced advice from local firms, who often don't convey all of the details that a tax planner prefers to read for himself.

This book does a good job of explaining the property tax system and how most people value their property. The book includes examples and worksheets which can be extremely helpful when you are gathering data for your case. The main idea in this book is that your property taxes are too high because your property has not been properly recorded in the tax assessor's office. Determining this and obtaining the data suggested in this book will prove to be valuable information for most homeowners. This is a common reason used to successfully lower your property taxes. However, if this approach has not worked for you, you may want to look into my book, Lower Your Property Taxes, as I have taken a different approach.

This reference and resource book is published annually and is the best investment anyone in the business of operating a church or synagogue can have.
