I couldn't belive it when I went through the atic of my house and found my tatterd and well-used copy of The Team On and Off the Set. Ever since Ghostwriter went off the air, I've missed Gabby, Jamal, Lenni, Tina, Alex, and Rob, my only insight into the world of mysteries on TV. I grew up with the show, and to read the book was going back in time to my childhood again. Thank goodness it's on reruns on the cable channel Noggin now!

Ghostwriter was always my favorite show. I was pretty upset when it went off the air. One day, I just happened to find a copy of "The Team On and Off the Set" at a used bookstore. I was so happy! This book tells a lot of information about the actors of Ghostwriter. It's a perfect book for any Ghostwriter fans!

There is a reason "The Teenage Human Body Operator's Manual" is in its 5th printing. This is an easily accessible and entertaining manual for preteens and teenagers tackling the tough issues facing today's adolescents. It provides candid and helpful information on topics including nutrition, hygiene, communication, physical health, stress, anger, depression, substance abuse, STDs, sexual assault, abusive relationships, steroids, eating disorders, tattoos, piercing, and branding, safer sex, condoms, sexual preference, [...], birth control, and pregnancy. It also presents a helpful 5 step process for changing bad habits. As a school-based behavioral health psychologist who has worked with over 1,000 adolescents in the past decade, I highly recommend this book for teenagers, teachers, health educators, counselors, parents, and anyone else who has the opportunity to work with kids.

This book--printed to look like an automobile owner's manual--is just the right blend of humor and seriousness. I use it to help teach groups of foster children about basic lifeskills. We always start with the last half of the book, that includes the "Routine Checkup." This is a questionnaire (multiple choice) that helps kids get in touch with their habits, and helps them learn how to change a habit and develop good ones.

Kids often laugh at the book when they get it, but it is there for them with accurate information when they have a question about anything that comes up in their teenage years--peer pressure, drugs and alcohol, sexuality, exercise, eating right, taking care of themselves, anger, body changes, etc.

Some of the illustrations (all ink drawing/cartoons by the illustrator) were a bit goofy looking for my taste, but my son says, "Dad, you're trippin'. They're cool." It's the best $12 I ever spent for my own son, and I highly recommend this book.

this book was based upon 2 episodes on unfabulous. the one when she falls in the punchbowl and the other when she gets into a fight with geena and zach because they were lying.It also comes with a little poster that you tear out of the book. it has perferated eges so you dont wreck the book, but if u r not careful you might rip the poster.

Ten Ways to wreck a date is about a girl named Stephanie who goes on a date with the most popular boy in school name Kyle. And she thinks it will be so cool cause the most popular boy asked hern out, But it turns out as a disater because when they were going on their first date Stephanie had to be back home a 10:00 p.m. but he planed to get home at 11:00pm. Also when they went to the movies they saw the same she saw allready again. and when they got their she wanted to sit in the middle row and he sat in the very first row.Also when Stephanie wanted to by the popcorn He bought it for them, and they next date they each got their own popcorn and split the money.Then Finally when she gets home everyone was waiting up for her to see how her first date was and she said the first date was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ten ways to wreck a date made me want to read more and more. And this book did not keep you hanging.

Ms. Berres makes learning Tarot seem as if anyone can do it. It is extremely apparent that she is very psychic and talented, and I am grateful that she wrote this book for the public to read. I now have a more concise understanding of the underlying principles of Tarot, and look forward to her next books.

I had the pleasure of having Janet Berres 'read' my cards many years ago. At that time, I was skeptical, until many of the things she said came true. When I heard that she had finally published her own book on learning Tarot, I immediately bought a copy. I have read a number of books on the Tarot and found them difficult or un-interesting to read. Janet Berres really has a handle on making the reader enjoy learning. This book is so easy to understand, you must buy it for yourself! I always thought the Tarot was unreachable for the average person, but after reading Janet's book I felt as if I really knew what Tarot was all about. You will really enjoy it. It is a must-have for anyone serious about Tarot.

For those of us who love the Big Harbour (Halifax) and adore Theodore, this book is a must! I bought several copies with the idea of giving them as 'greeting cards' for friends who saw the real Tall Ships in Halifax Harbour in 2000. Although this book doesn't have the usual moral for children, it does have the helpful idea of making friends with ships and people from all over the world. An inexpensive, yet delightful book. Designed as a 'read to me' style book for children too young to read on their own, this book is a charmer.

This story is another companion book to the PBS series, and is a gentle introduction to the idea of foreign languages. Like the other books in the series it is well written and nicely illustrated, and is one of the better Theodore stories. All the tugs are excited about the arrival of the Tall Ships to the Big Harbor, and it's Theodore's job to say hello to each arrival in their own language. We learn "hello" and "thank you" in Spanish, French, Italian, German and Dutch. Nicely done.

In all my years in the profession and as an educator, I have found few books as useful and relevant as this one. Mr. Arya is among the top live reporters in the country. He has earned some of the top honors in all of journalism. If you want to learn how to report live, buy it. If you want to get better at live, buy it. There is no other book like it! It is an easy read that hits every nail right on the head.

This is a great resource for aspiring reporters and for those who have been in the business for just a couplle of years. Mr. Arya presents a straight forward - honest look at what it takes to be a good live reporter in a very difficult field. The tips are very valuable to students and those just starting out in this field. They are also good to those who are working in live television but who are uncomfortable with the live presentation. This is a nice resource for all live reporters - a reminder of what it takes to make it work successfully.

Percy is my son's favorite Thomas train. He really liked this one, because Percy gets all dirty. It's a cute story.

My 2 year old grandson loves this book. I especially like that the video set I ordered has the Chocolate Crunch story on it since it is one of his favorites. It is an inexpensive paper covered children's book that you can keep in the car or diaper bag for easy, portable entertainment.
