Others cite anedotal accounts, but this is scientific evidence from 1000 samplings of 25% greater bacterial species richness
and increased earthworm activity in terra preta anthrosols. The A horizon of pristine forest soil was only 1 centimeter compared
to the terra preta 1 meter thick A horizon. The references given are also a valuable resource; this is a survey worth having.

Dr. Kanda has written an excellent article on this little explored topic. The text can easily be found online for free. I
purchased this hoping that it might contain some of the images that must be crucial to a deeper understanding of the subject
matter. Sadly, the article contains not a single image. Regardless, look it up online; it is essential reading to anyone interested
in this topic.

Astraea Magazine Review

The Best of Astraea- not a bad choice of names for a magazine that covers just about everything. For a reader interested in
archaeology, astronomy, anthropology, art, and that's just the "A"s... there's plenty of interesting reading.
Some articles are written on a plane that requires a handy reference manual; others are relatively easier to follow.
As for the quality of the articles in this "best of" Astraea - the vast majority I found to be a worthwhile read, although there were a couple of contributions that fell far short of my benchmark for credibility. That being said, the magazine is for free thinkers; it is for readers who are free to think for themselves, and for those who respect divergent theory and thought.
It's certainly worth noting that some of the articles that I enjoyed the most would in times past (and still may) be regarded as heresy. That thought makes me appreciate the diversity in content and opinion found within Astraea's pages.
The artwork (cover and inside) are of a quality that would stand up well in comparison to any magazine's art department. Astraea's artwork compliments beautifully the articles that it accompanies.
This one deserves to be read cover to cover, and to be left out on the table to be viewed by guests that you'd like to impress.

about me based on a phone interview where I described my work interests and my personal life.

I enjoyed everything about this biography, but felt there has to be more to the story somewhere out there. How did Church
get from being a reporter for the Civil War - to towering cynic - to the man who would write "Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa
Claus"? There are some serious gaps in the story I thought needed filling. Although Church wrote anonymously most often at
The Sun, surely somewhere is a collection of his editorials that might shed some more light on the heart and soul of this
man? A man who said 'Free your mind of Cant' who will declare that Santa Claus exists and lives forever in the heart and soul
of man? Francis Pharcellus Church is a true enigma.

I finally decided to splurge the $10 and see what this little bio had to offer. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.
It gave me some interesting information and it was a lot better than I expected. I am a die-hard Richie Tankersley Cusick
fan, so in my opinion, this was worth the $10 spent. The only thing I didn't like was that it hasn't been updated since 2003
so her newest novels are missing. Also, I wonder if things have changed since then. If there is ever an updated version, I
would love to read it.

What I'm about to write is completely biased. You probably shouldn't even believe what I say, because I've known Sarah Lovett
for years, think the world of her, and have been one of her medical advisors on several books. She is a great writer with
fans who are loyal, even if she has not had the success of the big-name mystery writers. This biography doesn't do her a
bit of justice, but is hopefully an introduction that will engage readers, and may provide some value to her fans.

I am an admirer of Peggy Noonan and my mark might be biased. I failed to get any real insight into the quintessence of her
writings and how her Catholicism has influenced her writing.Dr Jusuf Hariman
