The book, even though difficult to find, is worth a good look. There's LOTS of information and it doesn't seem as though the book leans one way or the other....innocent or guilty. What IS included are excerpts from the trial and inquest transcripts and clippings from newspapers of the day. If you can find it, GET THIS BOOK!

This is one of the best books on healing that I've ever read, because it's so balanced and mature. Many books on healing veer toward one extreme or the other - either God will always heal if we have enough faith, or He rarely does and He wants to glorify Himself through suffering. Not this book.

God is our Healer and Restorer. Wholeness is His ultimate will for everyone. If we do our part to meet His conditions, He often will heal. But not always in the way we want, and sometimes He chooses to take people home. We have our responsibilities to fulfill in bringing about His answers. And the ultimate restoration of all things is yet to come.

One thing I especially appreciate about this book is the real life stories the authors give. They show the practical applications of Biblical principles, and they underscore the wide variety of methods God uses to bring healing.

I have read gay fiction before, but this one is not your common book!

This story revolves around a troubled young man named Phillip; and it follows him throughout his teen, college and early adult years. There are only two men in his life, but only one truly in his heart, his Andrew.

They have quite the time of it coming back to each other after a bad breakup, but their love was truly resurrected!! Great book!!

This book gripped me from start to finish. I had bought it for my dad (when some old dears recomended it when I was laid up in hospital)due to our strong connection with boats, Fowey etc. I was reluctant to read it but from the moment I opened it I was sold. I disappeared into a world of 18th century reality; smuggling, true love, scandle.. to the point where you wanna be there. Kate Tremayne is gripping writter and my father & I are completely hooked. I shall shamelessly stalk all book retailers for her other 3 books in this series. From someone who avoids reading this is something special.

The Hualapai land case is truly "history in the making." Christian W. McMillen's account of the Hualapai Indians' legal struggle to hold on to their land takes the reader beyond the courts to the question of the nature of law: how is it formed? what legitimizes it? who decides? Refreshingly,white hats and black hats are essentially absent from this study of peoples who did not understand each other, but who, in the end,actually learned from one another, in many different ways. Does the individual make a difference? Take a look at Hualapai activist Fred Mahone and Felix Cohen, who established modern Federal Indian law. And behind them are unnamed others. Making Indian Law is an unsentimental story of heroes, and we don't need to stifle our cheers for the good guys and hope they win.

Clinton's study of the origins of judicial review is very interesting despite some major weaknesses. His attempt to understand what the Framers of the Constitution believed judicial review to be would be much stronger with more detail to the controversies raging within states just after ratification about judicial review. This is because he depends heavily upon his assertion that Marbury was consistent with the generally understood meaning of judicial review that the Framers shared. If there was no generally understood meaning about judicial review, then his hypothesis suffers a major blow.

My son really enjoyed this book. Not only does it have a story that keeps a 7 year olds attention, but it also teaches a lesson. It teaches children not to "jump to conclusions" without knowing all the facts. We really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to everyone with children.

Frann Harris dosn't pull any punches in describing the terror these daycare kids faced, or in exposing the stupidity of our justice system. From a sleepy mid-west town with a definite "Fargo" flavor, Martensville, Truth or Justice will leave you questioning the entire legal system. I picked up the book by accident, and couldn't put it down until I'd finished! Nice going Frann.
