Treasure Hunting is a nice little treasure. With some Indiana Jones type action, some creepy bad guys, some hot and strange love scenes (sex in a tree!), this story keeps your interest all the way through to the end. Treasure Hunting is a thoroughly enjoyable read.

This book had a LOT of great information about this period in our history....Anyone from this area would enjoy the reading...

Dr. Herbert Hinckley writes a biography about his father, Herbert Hinckley Sr, who is an engineer working in Texas in the 20's and 30's and is the first engineer to construct a dome "ceiling" without any visible column supports. This dome "ceiling" is called the Will Rogers Coliseum in Ft Worth, Texas. Dr. Hinckley explains the process his father had to endure to convince his colleagues that his design would work. It is a beautifully written book about the 20's and 30's and the economy, world and national events, and attitude of the working man.

Beautiful photographs of the San Francisco Peninsula, along the San Andreas Fault. Many pictures of the fogs around vegetation - redwood trees, grasses, ferns. The fog may be high or low, wet or dry - it is captured beautifully in black and white photographs in this coffee table book.

Suitable as a gift, especially for those who have hiked Peninsula Trails or visited Filoli House and gardens. The area covered is roughly around where Interstate 280 crosses 92 about half and hour south of San Francisco, California.

I am a son of one of the sailors abord the Puffer. Comments made by the skipper and crew brought to life a segment of my fathers life that he himself would not talk about. You are there with each depth charge attack. Fearing attacks from the air . Enjoying R&R on recently captured South Seas islands. Well Done. Thanks

I really enjoyed this book. I was a huge fan of Vivian Richards when he was playing and this book contains many wonderful stories of how he got to where he was and of his time during and after his playing career. Some his antics with Ian Botham had me in stitches.

My Grandfather (I called him Papa ;D) wrote this book several years before he passed in 2005. I have since read it, and enjoyed the information within concerning early radio in Montana. Both radio and Montana were my Grandfather's biggest interests. I recall countless times hearing stories of him working at radio stations (something he continued to do even into his sixties) and the joy he got out of working at those stations. His knowledge of Montana was also quite extensive or should I say "Obsessive". Here, you see both his passions collide. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys radio/broadcast history or Montana history.
