This book, as well as the others in the series, is great for teaching young kids about things, from messy rooms to jealousy. Each book is realitively short but contains a message. They help kids find ways of dealing with these things and how to prevent it.

Whimsical Book Based on the Movie

"Remy and Emile are nothing alike! Remy likes only gourmet food, while Emile thinks everything is food! Remy dreams of becoming a chef, while Emile just dreams of eating! These two are an odd pair, but they're brothers, and they'll stick by each other no matter what! Oh, brother!" -- From the back cover

My family and I saw the Ratatouille in the theater and LOVED it! In fact, when it comes out on DVD later this month, we'll be sure to snatch it up.

We have several books based on this movie, and the newest of our acquisitions is Oh, Brother! Rather than featuring slick stills from the movie, this unusual softcover book recreates key scenes using what looks like fabric and other materials--giving it a neat 3-D effect.

At 24-pages, the sentences are short with the illustrations taking up most of the page. This means that Oh, Brother! is a perfect book for beginner readers (and as a short bedtime story!) Linguini and Colette make an appearance in this book, as does the crazy old lady who owns the house Remy and Emile raided (remember the lightning strike?).

If you're looking for an appropriate book for youngsters based on the Ratatouille movie, Oh, Brother will be sure to please both kids and adults!

This is a cute book with a new way of presenting the story - it uses clear window panes for the illustrations. The only fault I have with it is that it doesn't have enough pictures of the cast. The one of Ned, for example, is facing backward. My daughter is too young to understand that it is indeed Ned.
All told though, it's a nice board book.

I like this book called "Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians" by Ann Braybrooks & Illustrated by Gil DiCicco & this book is like Anna Sewell's Black Beauty book illustrated by Eric Rowe.

I think Gil DiCicco & Eric Rowe are alike & Ann Braybrooks & Anna Sewell are simular too!!!

Here's what happens in chapter 4. & here are my favorite words I like to read from any disney book & it goes:

One night, Cruella's two nasty henchmen, Horace & Jasper kidnapped the puppies.

Horace & Jasper were stealing the puppies so, Cruella DeVil could make a fur coat out of the.

Perdy the dog managed to pull a coat over Horace'S head, confusing him. "Jasper! Jasper!" Horace yelled. "Get me out of here."
Horace stumbles & falls into the fireplace, landing in the flames.
When Horace jumped up, he accidently knocked Jasper into the wall.
More plaster came crashing down, this time on top of the Baduns.
The two dogs race out of the house after the puppies.

In the ending, the dogs go home & that's a happy ending.

This book reminds me of Anna Sewell's book on Black Beauty illustrated by Eric Rowe & you could buy them used & new for both on amazon.com.

I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast moving suspense mystery! Read it in less than five hours, didn't want to put it down and didn't want to go to bed until I had finished it! When it was over, it was interesting because with all the twists and turns of the plot what happened was a surprise. Even though they both deserved what they got - legaly it couldn't have been right! And, some one did get away with murder!

ABSOLUTELY A MUST HAVE FOR ORLANDO VISITORS!

Review Date: 1997-06-18
I've traveled to Orlando at least once a year for the last 7 years and while I've been anxious to explore outside of Walt Disney World I've never had the courage to "risk" my vacaction by spending the time and money to explore some of the lesser known attractions. Time and again I tried to find out more about some of the other available theme parks, but aside from quick write-ups in Disney centered books, there was nothing to be found. This book has been the answer to my prayers! It's well written, extremely detailed and provides the in depth coverage seasoned Disney veterans are used to seeing about the Disney attractions. I am now ready to make informed decisions about the other attractions in the Orlando area, and have in fact booked my next trip with many of these "alternate" parks on my itinerary. I read this book from cover to cover and it has made me as excited about visiting Orlando as I was before my very first trip!
