I have studied vocational astrology for a couple of years now. My favourite books are the ones written by Wickenburg, Hill, and Falconer because they are all good reference books. I always go back to them.

For long, I had seen Doane's volumes (vol.1 & vol.2) on vocation, and never really gave them a chance (found them too different from the usual) till the owner of a London bookshop offered me both for the price of one.

Well, I am so glad I agreed to it. I have learned so much in so little time. I had glanced at the Cosmodynes approach before, yet had never thought of giving it real weight in vocational astrology. This volume (and vol.1) is complementary to the traditional vocational reading of a chart (2nd, 6th, 10th, Sun, Moon, MC, etc.), definitely.

I think Doane's contribution provides me the final punch, and brushstroke, for identifying sturdily professional aptitudes and predispositions.

It is a great tool to have if you want to complete your vocational astrology toolbox.
