Publications and Media Books

If you are reading this book, you may be in the same position as I am and was forced to by Dr. David Davies. Well, good luck, it has taken me hours just to get through the first few chapters (mainly due to boredom). The book isn't really that bad, but it is not anything that I would ever read again, nor would I have read it without a deadline looming over my head for class. Overall I found it to be informative on the British Media, but lacking in any incentive to continue reading...All I can say about this book is GOOD LUCK!

The book is not what I expected. This book is more for primary science content, although some of the content could be adapted for middle school. The book does not provide patterns for you to use, which I believe is a negative aspect of the book. It simply includes a sample of how the bulletin board would look using the ideas outlined in the book. If you are looking for a book that will save you a lot of time, this is not the book for you. Another book in this series that I would suggest is "3D Bulletin Boards," which includes patterns.

This seemed to be more of a shared complaint session about common project management challenges than how to present the challenges to upper managment. Not at all what I expected and really took nothing away from it.

Mr. Bates claims to cover the 3 step process. He never identified the steps, keeps clearing his throat throughout the 39 minutes of oral presentation (disgusting).

Instead of proceeding with valuable content/information, he uses up time by asking questions of the audience. Non-value added.
