Wow, I checked this out at my library and was amazed at the info in this. I am from Indiana and this has every score from every sectional, regional, semi state and state game from 1911 - 2005. I bought a used one on Amazon for my own for a little over $2!!! Best money I have spent in a long time.

I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at the readability of this travel guide. There are inspirational stories in each chapter that make lies out of every excuse I've ever given for not running a marathon. As a cheering section member, this guide helps me show support while having a good time. I especially love the section 'Forget Sightseeing, Get me to a Spa'. Next time you want to run - I'll be at the spa waiting to hear your stories.

Excellent video. Well constructed set of drills and technique training to help you learn and/or improve your stroke mechanics. Great whether learning or looking to improve.

I am planning to do the Swedish Classic - a combination of four events during one year: Skiing, Biking, Swimming and Running. The differences from triathlon is 1) that these are separate events and b) the skiing. So that is why I picked this book up.

What I like about the book is that it combines a deep and broad knowledge of the field endurance sports with specific advice about training for several sports at once. It also has specific advice about things like equipment and so on. It has an optimistic tone which makes me tell myself that I can do it!

This bag is awesome, I use it for air travel and for my jiu jitsu gear. The wet pocket means it doesnt get stunk out so its fine to use it for other things. Fits a BJJ Gi easily, very comfortable to carry and plenty of pockets for the mouth guard, box and belt. The fold out mat seems a little pointless but im not doing out door sports so im sure it would be handy for that. Pretty easy to tuck a folded towel into the end pouch if you want to keep that seperate. Great Buy

This book is an absolute necessity if you follow UTAH/BYU football. The rivalry is vividly painted with the book. It is almost an entire history of this tense rivalry. Rosetta and Miller are particularly good at taking the UTAH or BYU view in each chapter. The book synopsis is correct on the cover of the book--each chapter makes you laugh and cry, disagree and agree, and protest and cheer (it all depends on which side you are on!). This book does not take sides, UTAH/BYU fans will love one part of the book, and hate another part of the book. READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they

This book is required to pass the Level 1 USJA Coaching certification. The book is insightful in its discussion of coaching and teaching, and can be applied to any martial art teaching. It was well-written and easy to understand, and I would recommend it to any martial artist, even if they are not going through the USJA certification process.

This book is very detailed, a must for general medical information.

I have the hardback edition, published in the U.S. in 1999, but the content is the same as this paperback edition.

The book start with individual skills, with the first chapter on ball control covering receiving, turning, shielding, and dribbling moves. The book has many, many, excellent annotated pictures illustrating each skill. For most skills, the book diagrams a suggested skill-builder drill, which can either be done by players working on their own ("soccer homework"), or as part of a practice led by a coach.

After the Ball Control Chapter, the book also covers Passing and Shooting, Dead Ball Skills, Defending, Attacking, Tactics, Goalkeeping, and Training and Fitness.

The passing and shooting section has helpful diagrams of where on the ball to strike, and where on the foot, and has enough detail to answer most questions players or coaches would have about the details of how a particular skill should be done.

In the tactics area, and throughout the book, there are also many diagrams and color artwork pictures illustrating player positioning and movement in a way that makes the tactics clear.

I have many soccer coaching books, but this one is the one I go to when I want authoritative information and refresher on key points for teaching a particular skill. I've used many of the drills in my practices, and they have always gone well.

The book has excellent information, and realistic and helpful step-by-step action pictures that demonstrate skills.

The only real criticism I have is that sometimes I need more steps in the action pictures, particularly some of the dribbling moves, to see how the player got from A to C, and I feel like step B is missing.

Now my two daughters (12 and 14) play with an elite club team that wins 2-5 state championships a year (out of 8 girls age groups) and I recognize so many of the key components of that program being effectively taught in this book. This book is tremendously sound in terms of both the skills and terminology it teaches, and the highly effective way it presents and teaches them.

If you are a coach looking for an effective organization of skills and tactics to teach, or a player, especially one without access to expert, state-of-the art soccer skills training, I highly recommend this book. Because a picture is worth a thousand words, and this book is loaded with well-thought out pictures, artwork, and diagrams, players as young as 10, perhaps younger in special cases, could read the material and get very good use out of it. This book is simply excellent, and highly recommended for any soccer player and coach who wants to improve by learning and mastering the details of the skills and tactics needed to become a high-level soccer player.
