Absolutamente recomendable

Many people doubt the existance of purgatory, but this book makes it quite clear there is such a place. The author relates the experiences and visions of saints and lay persons as to the existance of purgatory. Far from being a benign place, purgatory is a temporary hell. The book makes frightening reading in places to show how perfectly just God is. The author also relates the most incredible miracles, such as a man who died and was reduced to a skeleton, but by the power of God, in front of numerous eye witnesses, had his flesh regrown and came alive to show their is a purgatory. The books main point is that God is merciful but also very just and that he rewards and punishes until all debts are paid. A great book.

There are so many myths when it comes to the Civil Rights Movement and so often it is reduced to a few holiday's and key speeches. This book not only teaches us about the ordinary, everyday citizens who sacrificed and stood for change, but also invokes critical thinking and connects us to our past so we better understand our role in fighting injustice today.

This book describes all of the aspects of Quality Management including Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Standards. It's written in a down-to-earth manner and is extremely easy to read. Overall - an excellent buy!

Very good. The book goes directly to the issue of what X-ray fluorescence is and its applications. Most books in the field explain lot of techniques and do not treat fluorescence properly. Just to remind, it is one of the most used X-ray techniques in the industry. It was about the time for someone to write a book only about fluorescence.

For the first time, the exciting inside story of the breaking of the sound barrier as told by Chuck Yeager and his X-1 team members. World renowned stunt pilot Bob Hoover was Yeager's chase pilot that fatefull morning. It is a beautifully illustrated book with 125 photos, many from the authors private collections that have never been seen by the public or published before. It also includes a chapter on famous aviatrix and motion picture stunt pilot Pancho Barnes and her Happy Bottom Riding Club. Pancho offered a free steak to the first man to break the sound barrier (Mach One) and Yeager collected that steak on Oct. 14th 1947. Pancho's Club was the fraternity house for the test pilots, where they could share lessons learned in flying the new jets and to celebrate surviving for one more day<p> It is a brilliant saga of dedication to duty, team work, camaraderie, technical brilliance, unmatched flying skills and heroism. These men are true heroes and role models for todays youth.

I was looking simply for a good sized, detailed map of the just United States, so we could "map" out places we've been, and places we'd like to see. All the other maps I saw were either too involved, meaning it had things in addition to the states, too small, or too expensive for a simple plan. I found this map that I purchased perfect for what I had in mind.

I love this book. I has almost all the needs that I would like to include in my babys record book. It also has 3 rings so that when you add items to this book they will not fall out. I LOVE IT..

This is THE best book I've read about Xers, God and the church. Buy it for yourself, your ministry team members, your pastor - you can't afford not to... and this is coming from an Xer :).
