I read this book, translated to the portuguese, here in Brazil.This book was writen, in XIX century.About socialism, this book is prophetic.
This book doesn't talks, only about socialism, but also about other things.This book is short, very easy to read, and even after more than 120 years later, this book is still, better than many other options to read about socialism.

This is great stuff... large prints of many of his better works. The text is good, too, but this book is mainly for people who want to view Beardsley's mastery of the pen. I recommend it.

For those who've long lived with Bernstein's The Careful Writer and other titles, the Reverse Dictionary is just one more example of why he's essential to the word-conscious reader and writer. As the title implies, this dictionary takes you from definition to word and makes it possible for the mind of a certain age to regain all those terms that have slipped from the tip of the tongue to some less accessible region. this book is not very popular at my country.We usually use Barrons very common.If you are get bored of classical TOELF practices this book will give you a good chance of find your mistakes and improve your score. Excelent study tips. At least worked on me!

This is an excellent read for academia. Although it can be somewhat slow-its a comparative analysis of two complex African American leaders- and how their intellect threaten and forever changed main-stream America. Depicted as polar opposites by the press (the machine) it takes one to the threshold of truly acknowledging Malcomn X and DR King as being much more alike (the Cross Roads) than they were different. Pass this one on to your love ones.....or challenge your HS or collegiate students.

The late Beverly Nichols was an eccentric Englishman who wrote mostly about gardening and some other topics. In his gardening books and autobiographies you will often find him digressing about his cats. He finally decided that since the cats kept creeping into anything he wrote that he had better devote a book to them.

This is the second of two books dedicated to his cats and their "lifestyles." In it you will find much information about cats in general that is very useful if you are a new cat owner and much that will have veteran cat people nodding in agreement and laughing out loud. He talks about people as being F or non F (for feline)and draws humorous pictures of the people who wander in and out of the cats' world. He is not a "cat expert" but he gives us all an insight into the private lives of cats. There is obviously more to any cat than meets the eye.

This book is a treatise on developing psychic skills with more than 15 black and white reproductions of the author's oil paintings interspersed throughout the text. As explained by this excerpt from the book's introduction:
