An insightful & inspiring accounting of European Relief work in the chaos that followed WWIIReview Date: 2007-10-30
In 1944 she published 'In the Margins of Chaos' -- recollections of Relief work with Appendix on Advice to Relief Workers. In January 1945 she joined Unrra as Principal Welfare Officer, arriving in Germany two days after its defeat, and working among the Dachau victims and other DP's (displaced persons) in the American Zone of Germany.
In the summer and autumn of 1946 she visited Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Austria under Unrra auspices, and upon her return finished this book. The book is the first inside account of Unrra's attempts to relieve the chaos in Europe after WW II.

Very well done; highly recommended.Review Date: 1999-11-10
The model is simple and yet powerful. I found myself doing a self-examination and applying it at home with my children. It will take some time to master the techniques and I'm optimistic it will greatly assist us with future corporate changes.
It's my intention to put together a training program for the entire company as it will help everyone better face business and personal change.

Adventures of Krsna - Terrible Demons, Wonderful Friends!Review Date: 2005-07-11
A wonderful story about the pastimes of Krsna, the perfect child.
When his friends are swollowed by a great serpent monster, Krsna must find a way to save his friends. With his special powers he slays the demon and rescues his friends.
Wonderful stylistic illustrations full of glorious detail and clever perspectives - the boys running through the forest, trailed by shadows and the shadows of the birds above and so on.
I'm so in love with this book, which was one of my childhood treasures, that I am going to purchase the two available second hand copies for my son and his cousins.
In fact, the illustrations which are slightly reminiscent of the earlier Disney movies (such as Beauty & the Beast) inspired me to become an animator.
I can't wait for the next generation to enjoy them, and this is one story I would kill to see an animated adventure of. Until then, love the book!
Very worth adding to your collection, and is a book which will surely be requested repeatedly.

Xul Solar hizo del mundo su materia de creación, acto que en la historia del arte muy pocos artistas lograron. Por supuesto, exceptuando a Dios.

Wilson also offers hundreds of case histories and anecdotes on topics as diverse as split brain research, apparitions, telepathy, the magic of primitive man, pre-cognition, out of body experience, A-consciousness and B-consciousness, vampires, the subliminal mind, past lives, the mystery of multiple personalities, and contact with the dead. He asks and answers questions on how far we can trust the evidence given by mediums, the presence of spirits in madness, how we lost our psychic powers, why the Victorians were skeptical of the occult, can personality survive death, are spirit controls sub-personalities, and most important, "What happens after death?"
