Prayer to Jesus Christ Is The Main Goal-Everyday.

I'd say get this book, but then i will also give you the Lord's prayer for free. We all need Salvation because life can take away your life and my life, and if we Die in Our Sins then we end up in Hell.
"Our Father who art in Heaven
hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom
Come, Thy will be done on earth as it
is in Heaven. Give us this day and our daily
bread and forgive us for our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us. And lead
us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Jesus, I pray this in your Holy name. Amen."

The second free prayer is the one on Salvation.

"Jesus,
Save from eternal damnation. I repent of my sins, and I ask
you to forgive me. Please, come into my life right now and everyday, and take me
to Heaven once i die. I pray this in your Holy Name. Amen."

Get this book, and pray the prayers above, and the Holy Ghost shall come into your life and guide you everyday. But prayer is important. Always. Jesus is not about one day, but everyday. He is our Creator. So always pray, make it into a beautiful habit. Prayer is talking to Jesus Directly. Once the Holy Ghost speaks to you, it is a beautiful feeling that does not compare to any joy you may have experienced at all in your entire life. It is God speaking to you, the Energies are so beautiful, ultimate happiness, it is Ultimate love. You simply want more of it. But yes, Jesus Christ is beautiful.

As for myself, i am an independant Christian. I believe only in the Holy Bible-Jesus's Word,in Prayer, and Christ Jesus Only.

I love this little book and the big inspiration it offers for prayers. The fact is, I pray at red lights -- odd but true. As I run errands everyday, I find myself thinking of someone or something else I had forgotten. Joanne Redmond reminds me of a dear and close friend who offers careful and well thought out nudges to remind me to pray. As long as we do it, we remind oursleves that there are many who need prayers just as much as we do. It's a wonderful book with lovely pictures. Great idea with a lasting memory of what is really important. Another book I adore, which has a incredible, but simple prayer for moms in the back, is Mommy-CEO, by Christian family columnist, Jodie Lynn.

You'll love this book!

Redmond has captured the essence of what it means to be in daily conversation with the God of the universe. Rather than offering lofty platitudes or religious doctrine, Redmond breaks through to what it means to have intimacy with the Father. God designed us to be in relationship with Himself, and Redmond shows how easy this can be in the midst of our hurried lives.

The Rule of Benedict for a lay person

Seeking God: The Way of St. Benedict not only explains the rule in clear terms, it shows how it can be implemented (i.e., lived) by an individual living outside of a monastic community. As a married man with children (now grown) who loves his family oriented vocation, the book gave me both insight into, and a way to live out my calling to a contemplative spirituality in a world that rarely appreciates or acknowledges such a mixed vocation. It's been more than 25 years since I first read the book and while I've only re-read it cover to cover a couple of times over the years, I have frequently picked it up to re-read a few pages or a chapter that seems relevant.

"Seeking God" helped bring "The Rule of St. Benedict" into focus for me, enabling me to see clearly the wisdom of Benedict's vision for our day. For two other books that explore Benedictine wisdom for parents, look for "The Family Cloister: Benedictine Wisdom for the Home" and "The Christian Family Toolbox: 52 Benedictine Activities for the Home", both by David Robinson (New York: Crossroad,2000 and 2001). Benedict still speaks relevantly and prophetically in our day!

This is an amazing book in it ability to provide modern day interpretation to the St. Benedict's teachings. The insights of this saint who lived in the 6th century contain uncanny wisdom and direction for us today, whether as religious, lay person, for family and business leaders. Ms de Waal's style is thoughtful, prayerful, inspiring.
I recommend it to anyone who is interested in personal, and/or societel growth.

I found Esther's book to be very insightful and concise. The only thing that trip me up a bit was the very small print and small fonts. Other than that she has a very clever way of explaining the rule of benedict and what it could mean for ones lay lifestyle. This is an excellent read for anyone wishing to become an Oblate.

Seeking God is an elegant, insightful, and extremely valuable treatment of the spirituality inherent in St. Benedict's Rule. The further into the book I read, the better I realized it was. Again and again I was impressed with the wisdom and psychological astuteness of the Rule as deWaal explained it. Benedict's way of moderation, humility, and balance, as interpreted by deWaal, seems one of the wisest and healthiest examples of Christian thinking that I have encountered. It is an excellent antidote to the regrettable tendency of some to want to separate body from soul and the material world from the spiritual world; Benedictine spirituality instead balances and integrates them!

Decent story

I'm an adult, and I read this book mainly to learn about the WASP program. While the information about the planes is detailed and appeared to be well-researched, some of the things in the story seemed questionable.

For example, Byrdie remembers how a rattlesnake once crawled through the water pipes and out the water faucet in the wash room in her house. But water pipes are full of water, not air, and the snake wouldn't have been able to get past the valves. Then there's the farmer who apparently has chickens (since he mentions having chicken feed) who has used his ration stamps to buy eggs. But why buy eggs when he presumably can get them from his own hens?

Also, none of the girls (except Byrdie) has any mechanical malfunctions on their planes, but Byrdie has several mechanical failures. I kept wondering why the instructors never once suspected sabotage. And several times Byrdie feels the wind caress her face when she's in a closed cockpit, which was confusing since I thought you wouldn't be able to.

I should also warn readers that the book was written in present tense, which I found very distracting. (People don't tell each other stories or even talk in present tense, so it "sounds" unnatural to me.)

Despite all this, the story was engaging and the characters were likable. I kept reading because I wanted to find out what happened to the characters. There was no sex, no profanity, and the lessons learned were good ones. This book was good, clean fun.

We first meet Bernadette Thompson, Byrd, as her mother stands, disapproving, on the ground while Byrd and her father in the small airplane prepare to takeoff into the sky. The wind whipped at Byrd's hair in the open cockpit, looking down she could see their farm house. Byrd's father encouraged Byrd to consider becoming the next Amelia Earhart.

Everything went black at the end of a dive.

Julia Moberg writes Skies Over Sweetwater depicting a little known incident in the history of women pilots. A must read for those having an interest in history and those early women aviators Skies Over Sweetwater is a well written, fast paced work sure to please the upper middle grade - high school reading audience.

Set before the advent of the Second World War in 1936, Iowa, at a time when airplanes and flying were much different than today; Byrd's father loved flying. When he died in the flying accident, Byrd's mother became embittered against flying and airplanes. Byrd disobeyed her mother, learned to fly and even began giving flying lessons.

It was during WWII, 1944, that Byrd heard about a special school for women pilots, not really thinking she might be accepted into service she nonetheless took the entrance exam and soon, without her mother's blessing or even

knowledge was on her way traveling aboard a train moving South toward Sweetwater, Texas. On board the train Byrd met Sadie, a young Oklahoma woman with whom she would form a firm friendship. The pair each looked forward to the training they would receive upon their arrival at Avenger Field.

Julia Moberg writes about a little remembered fact of American history when women at home took to the skies. Testing airplanes for the Air Force, doing their part for the war effort, ferrying planes for male pilots, towing targets for gunnery drills; women pilots were an integral part in the effort to keep America safe.

On their way to attend the Avenger Field WASP, Women Air Force Service Pilots, training school where the young women slept on cots, learned to share a bathroom with twelve others, and underwent rigorous training; Byrd and her new friends were dismayed to learn that the men met, and later those with whom they were training had little belief that they could even pilot an airplane and openly hoped they would fail.

Byrd was eighteen when she joined that cadre of dedicated young women. Bi-weekly tests assured a girl's place at the school, however if performances were not up to standard, then the girls washed out to be sent home. Byrd and her friends loved the exhilaration of flying and were determined that no matter what; their squad would make the grade.

Nothing would be allowed to come between them and their determination. Before their graduation the girls learned that it would take supreme effort to remain focused as they faced one event and then another which might, and one did, cause other girls to simply give up.

Writer Moberg's novel, is filled with complex characters, a richly detailed landscape and plenty of action. Although Skies Over Sweetwater is a fictionalized account dedicated to the upper middle grade to high school reader it is also a stirring read for booklovers of all ages. Each of the characters is appealing, believable and down to earth. The main characters

are people with warts and foibles, fears and hopes, the secondary characters fill in the gaps. These are girls you feel as though you know. Skies Over Sweetwater presents a dandy method for learning a bit about an all but forgotten component of our history.

The elite Women's Air Force Service Pilots training program at Avenger Field in Texas found young women from many backgrounds offering their service to the war effort. Writer Moberg adds day to day details to help readers gain a better understanding of the time; from Victory Gardens to eyebrow pencil lines drawn on the backs of the girls' legs to emulate the wearing of rationed, all but impossible to get, nylon stockings to butter rations Moberg fleshes her text.

And, as the war came to a close, their planes were sent to other bases, and the young women all paid for their own tickets home where they rejoined their communities.

NOTE: Those women comprising the WASP were not recognized as veterans until President Carter signed a bill into legislation in 1977 granting veterans status to the brave women who had freed male pilots to fight in the war zone while they served their country at home. Fictionalized work, excellent read, well written, happy to recommend.

Moberg's novel, although geared towards the "tween" set, is inspiring for readers of all ages. It reminded me a bit of the "American Girls" series (which I love) because of the historical setting, but this book is much more richly developed. The characters are also all well developed -- I was pleased to discover that Cornelia, who at first appears to be cast as simply "the rich snob," has in fact a much more complex background. All of the characters are engaging, and this book is definitely a wonderful way to learn about a little-known aspect of American history while enjoying a memorable story. Highly recommended.

Byrd's father loved flying and spreading the joy of flying. When he died in a flying accident, Byrd's mother refused to talk about airplanes or even let her daughter near one. Byrd disobeyed, and found herself when she flew. Soon she obtained a pilot's license and gave lessons.

During WWII, she heard about a special school for women pilots to aid the war effort. She immediately took the entrance exam, never dreaming that she'd be accepted.

Byrd leaves small town life and travels across the country by train to attend WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) training school. Here, the girls sleep on cots, share a bathroom with twelve other women, perform calisthenics, and enjoy excellent food during a time where rationing food swept the nation.

Then the real day begins when they attend flying lessons with men who want them to fail.

Bi-weekly tests secure a girl's place at the school, and if performances are not acceptable, girls wash out and go home. Byrd and her friends are determined not to let that happen to their squad. For these girls, flying is in their blood, and they feel at home in the air.

Julia Moberg writes about a little known fact in American history when the women ruled the skies, testing airplanes for the Air Force, ferrying planes for male pilots, and doing their part for the war effort.

This was a great collection of strips. You can see the natural and humorous growth of Zoe, Hammie and baby Wren, who keep Wanda and Darryl constanstly on their toes and in the grocery store. I have always loved Baby Blues and will be sad to see them "grow up"....like the kids in For Better Or For Worse. That's when you know a strip is darn great...when you think of the characters as real and you can really relate to their daily "lives". Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

I can't believe the longevity of this strip and how it has stayed consistantly funny. When it first came out I found it really amusing as it dealt with the pitfalls of being a parent with a baby/children. Now all these years later, they are on their third child and the jokes are fresh and still very amusing. Baby Blues is an excellent series for the young and older fans.

I read this book for an MBA class I'm taking and I was pleasantly surprised! Usually when students have to read textbooks for a class, they are boring and rarely keep your attention. This was not the case with Stand Your Ground: Building Honorable Leaders the West Point Way. My fiance used to be in the army, so I've heard a lot about the honor that is instilled in its members. However, I never fully understood that honor until I read this book. Much of the information is common sense, but you would be surprised how many people are not honorble. Dr. Offstein breaks honor down in such a way that you fully understand it and want to apply it in your own life. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in becoming a productive, successful, and most importantly, honorable leader.

Offstein's book is incredible. It really doesn't matter what you do for a living, leadership will always be critical in your life. Stand Your Ground is about understanding HONORABLE leadership. Offstein uses the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the honorable leadership that is honed there as the blueprint for leadership and success. Like a book fables, there are hundreds of snippets from personal experience and well-known events to illustrate the importance of honor in leadership. If you want to one day be an effective leader in your own life, who is respected and admired, you have to read this book.

We highly recommend Evan's book. As the largest contingency placement firm that specializes in placing military job seekers into Corporate America, we know that companies recognize the advantages of the leadership lessons imparted at the service academies and via the military at large. The quality of this training, coupled with the high caliber of the individual, is what makes these military leaders so valuable, whether they are serving our country, or whether they are making important contributions in the private sector after their service.

Offstein Just Nails It

Review Date: 2006-12-28
Quite simply, Evan Offstein just nails his thesis: truly successful individuals, leaders, and their organizations are based on a deep reservoir of moral/ethical grounding that help them to make the right decisions every single day. His numerous, down-to-earth examples hammer it home from multiple angles, and you can't help but be convinced that he's on to something here. Dr. Offstein has a gift for writing prose that is personable and easy to read. It's as if he's talking straight to you through the pages of his book much the same way he might deliver a lecture at his university.

Perhaps my favorite lesson from his book is the chapter on lifelong preparations for a MOMENT (heck, multiple MOMENTS). It reminds me of what one Army General said one time: "Your integrity will be challenged in small ways every day." it has proven absolutely true over the years, and the daily struggle continues to make sure we do the right thing by our coworkers, our kids, our wives, our friends, etc. Those who can make the RIGHT ethical choices on a day-to-day basis will be slowly building the bedrock of their organizations to guard against the Enrons, Tycos, NCAA scandals, etc. of the world.

Most of the so-called "leadership" or "management" books you'll find wasting shelf-space at Barnes & Nobles or Book-a-Million wish they could lash onto some of the truths that Dr. Offstein lays out in his concise book. Highly recommended!

Finally--a leadership book that explains how to BE a good leader!

Review Date: 2006-09-11
I first approached this book with a bit of skepticism, as I thought its focus would be upon the "grandiose" merits of the West Point experience (which I shared elbow-to-elbow with the author, my classmate). I was greatly relieved to discover that this work is actually a testimonial to the necessity to BE a good person and leader, so important (and foreign) in a day and age where corrupt individuals realize incredible personal gains while simply paying lip service to such lofty ideals as honor. This book explains both the origin of corporate corruption and the way a leader SHOULD behave to ensure that this phenomenon does not continue to grow in scope.

I was happy to see that Dr. Evan Offstein was able to distance himself from our shared Cadet experiences and approach the book in an organized, thoughtful, and systematic fashion. He explains that good leadership begins with an honorable character and THEN extends into the leader's expertise and skill sets. I always struggled to quantify the almost intangible quality which caused me and my West Point classmates to react in horrified disbelief when we encountered corrupt individuals with an almost limitless propensity to harm and defraud employees and stakeholders. Evan has finally defined this lineament: honor, and the overwhelming need for an individual to BE a good person, rather than simply KNOW the "acceptable" or "expert" manner in which to proceed and to "DO" only what needs to be done to temporarily satisfy personal and shareholder demands.

The book is straightforward, easy to read, and informative without possessing an air of pretense or superior knowledge. I am firmly convinced that if leaders the world over would read this tome and apply its principles, corporate scandal would disappear, replaced by increased levels of profit, worker motivation, and customer/shareholder satisfaction. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

Sutton's Way is a delightful story about Amanda Callaway, the lead singer of a country rock band, Desperado, and Quinn Sutton, a rancher with a big chip on his shoulder, set in Wyoming. Amanda is alot stronger and feistier than some of Diana Palmers' other characters and Quinn isn't as 'pretty' in his looks as some of her other heroes, but he can be just as difficult and exasperating as them! You'll love these two, I know I do!

This is like most Diana Palmer books, with the young, innocent heroine and the older, roughened hero, except in one major way.....the hero is a virgin too! Quite remarkable at the age of 34 and being married before, with a son. Although Quinn seems innocent in the ways of intimacy that are slightly unbelievable, he comes off as being strong and not wimpy in the least. Though you would think he'd know more about it with television and everything even if this book was written in 1989, I still can't find too much fault with that minor detail, it was written in such a way that you can believe he is a virgin.

The dialogue is witty and I laughed out loud more than a few times. Amanda and Quinns' encounters with each other are both steamy and tender, you can just feel the tension crackling between them and the love they feel for each other. The story is touching, moving, realistic, and it'll have you reading it over and over again. Don't miss it!

Back cover reads:
WYOMING WILDCAT
Tragedy had sent music superstar Amanda Callaway to the Wyoming mountains to heal. What she found was another battle to fight...Quinn Sutton.
Snowbound at his ranch, Amanda was glad Quinn was unaware of her real identity. With a chip on his shoulder the size of the Tetons, the rugged mountain man had no use for the opposite sex--especially city womem who ran in the fast lane.
But what Quinn didn't realize was how special his world seemed to Amanda. Battling his misconceptions about her, she vowed to prove she shared the same old-fashioned values...and desires. When he learned who she was, though, would she lose him forever?

A pleasant surprise!

I have not had many good experiences with books in the Silhouette Desire series - cheesy plots, annoying characters, etc., but I gave this one a try because it was from Palmer and I am a HUGE fan of her work. Once again, she didn't let me down. I'm a sucker for the rough-around-the-edges, brooding, emotionally distant hero and Sutton certainly is all that. But we are shown his tender side right away in his relationship with his son, and how he cannot help but let Amanda into his hardened heart. The love scenes are just that, LOVE scenes, and that is always a good thing. Sharp dialogue and really interesting back stories for each character are another plus. Enjoy this one!

It truly tugs at the heart! To find a man so emotionally scarred that he has become a woman-hater and yet comes to a knowledge of true love. sigh!
Quinn Sutton's first contact with Amanda as she asks for directions to Blalock Durning's cabin is of a man with the coldest black eyes and the hardest face she had ever seen.
His day's growth of stubble didn't begin to cover up the homeliness of his lean face.

Amanda wasn't disturbed as the guys of her rock group, DESPORADO, were even uglier than Quinn. Her famous drummer is Hank Shoeman [with his story in Abduction & Seduction - Redbird]
then there is Deke, Jack and Johnson - Hank is the only married man of the group and in process of getting a divorce.

Amanda is settling in when Quinn's twelve year old son, Elliot comes late at night to ask for her help. She gives in to Elliot's entreaties to help his father. She sees Quinn through a debiliting fever and there begins a mutual attraction.

Quinn is under the impression that Amanda is Durning's latest lover. [grin - Boy is he wrong!]
Quinn in turn rescues Amanda from probably freezing to death from a winter storm and she pitches in and helps with the calves that need mothering.

There is lots more and I leave it up to you to find out how Quinn reconciles his emotional fears and finally lets love into his life. How He almost loses Amanda when he finds out she is a rock star. Elliot and his keyboard sure help a lot.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - shouldn't be missed -- #4 in the Long, Tall Texan series.

This book is a wonderful companion. It reads like a conversation, instead of an esoteric medical piece. It contained numerous tips and helped me to understand why I was having trouble sleeping, and how simple it is to improve my sleep quality. A great item for anyone seeking expert advice without the fluff.

Kudos to Nikos Linardakis for his terrific book, Ten Natural Ways to a Good Night's Sleep. Nikos has provided readers with easy and accessible ways to get a good night's sleep. In our hectic 24/7 lives, sleep is all the more essential to our well-being.

Like Nikos, I am on a quest to raise awareness about the importance of sleep. Borm of personal experience, I wrote "My Daddy Snores" (Scholastic Inc.) I wish all readers restful sleep and sweet dreams! My Daddy Snores

I am a physician and have dealt with sleep issues in perhaps thousands of people in my career. As knowledgeable as I am about sleep and associated disorders I must admit I learned a great deal more about this subject from this book than any other reference material. It is a wealth of interesting and very practical information.
The book is well put together, an easy read, and for an information book it reads like a novel, you can't put it down. It is a quick read and I heartily recommend it for EVERY single person in the world.....it is that good!

I thought this was a terrific book. For all of those baby boomers who now find themselves going through menopause, work stresses, changing circadian rhythms, this is the book for you. It is so tempting just to pop sleeping pills but reading Dr. Linardakis' book gives a number of never published suggestions that should be required reading for those insomniacs looking for a natural solution.

This book warms my heart because it can enlighten people that saying thank you means a lot more than people generally think. Also, that there are so many different ways to thank someone; a letter or a phone call isn't always the most creative way to thank someone. Ali shows her readers that there are so many different ways to thank someone!

THANK YOU Ali for this book!

This is a book that should be on the bookshelf of every child's room! After seeing this book, your child will be thanking everyone. The book has creative and original ideas that will turn an ordinary thank you note into a memorable treat. The suggestions and sample letters will help your child write thank you letters with ease. Not only will your child enjoy reading it, they will continue to use it in the future as well. Both children and parents should be thanking the author for her brilliant work!

Sometimes it is so difficult to help your kids thank people when they receive a gift or a favor. This book actually does it for you. Inside this little book are terrific ways to let your child see that thanking others can be fun and worthwhile. Thanks to Ali Spizman, my child is now a pro. We've even "borrowed" a few of her lines for our own thank you's. A really worthwhile and creative book to have.

This book is a must for families!

As a mom of two young boys, I probably say thank you and remind someone else to say it about 50 times a day. It was so refreshing to read the words of a young woman who obviously knows the true meaning of the word and took the time to share her beautiful thoughts with others. It's also a fun read for parents and kids, filled with great ideas and a personal touch because the author includes letters she wrote to thank her friends, teachers, and even famous people (who were gracious enough to write back). After a long day of balancing work and family, this book really made my evening and is one I know we'll keep and use forever! I highly recommend it to other parents too.

A great big THANK YOU to Ali Spizman for taking the time to remind all of us the importance of saying "Thank you". Being an elementary school librarian, I originally bought this book as a reference for my students. I soon found, however, that it was a great inspiration to me personally. Ali includes a tremendous variety of clever ways to make the often dull task of writing thank-you notes into an exciting exercise in creativity. This book should be required reading for all ages!

Great new additions to my handicapping...

Bought your book TTW with the idea of getting
at least one "nugget" like I do from all handicapping
books.

The use of the DRF number and variant coupled with
the Beyer was enough out there that I liked it. Also,
the passing horses which I have not used was useful.
I didn't understand the hooking winnings to that but
I will read that chapter again. Lastly, the Double
Bet Down was a jaw dropper. However, as I
play mostly horizontal bets I may not get to employee
that angle as often as I should.

I did play the TuP Pic4, can't play SoCal due to
the dispute over my money, today adding your two
enhancements and hit it for about $270 with a
3:5 cinch in the last leg.

Many months ago, I purchased "The Ultimate Guide to Handicapping the Horses". I'm Canadian, and grew up loving harness racing more than the runners. The title caught my eye, along with the last name of the author for I can vividly remember a driver by the same name. I'm not sure if there is any relation, but this book was extremely informative and INCREDIBLY INTRIGUING! I haven't received "The Tuttle Way II" yet, but I'm greatly anticipating learning more from this amazingly talented vanity writer.

Good Luck to all!

(Her review IS completely inaccurate and despicable!)

And for the record, it has AMAZED me over the years how
writer's of handicapping books have misspelled the word "intrinsic",
by spelling it "intrensic", for YEARS!!!! Yet this man who writes first drafts in
purple crayon, gets it correct?! This women's review was/is completely
defaming, and it's a shame Mr. Tuttle cannot sue on the basis of defamation
of character! At the very least, her "review" in slanderous.

God, where should I begin. First off, I think it should be noted that the
real/true beauty of being a "Vanity Author" (as Mr. Tuttle probably is) comes
from the fact that there aren't sixteen different versions floating around.
Think about it.... Do you really think that the likes of some of your more notable
horse handicapping writer's don't actually need a lot of help with grammar
and punctuation? Joseph Tuttle is clearly a man doing this on his own, in an
effort to better serve us! HE IS A PROFESSIONAL GAMBLER..... www.winners57.com

He makes no bones about it, he is a horseman first and foremost, and his
horsemanship perspective has taught me more than I had ever dreamed imaginable. His methodologies are insightful and stimulating.
I purchased this book (at a different site) some two months ago, and have had
some incredible results. As far as I'm concerned, for someone write a such
disparaging remarks they must have an axe to grind!!! Ms. Shawda Brown....
You should be ashamed of yourself! Didn't anyone ever teach you the old saying....
"If you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all."?
In closing, I want to leave all of you with a wonderful excerpt from "The Tuttle Way".

Excerpt from this book......

".....This is also how you can determine how strong of a "brush" a horse might have,
which can ultimately lead to more winners and a better overall opinion
(for yourself to develop), of horseflesh.

{What I like to do looks something like this...}

:22 (for the horse that led after the opening quarter)
:23 (my "horse of interest" was sitting 3rd, 5 lengths off the leader)

:45(the time that the leader of said race hit the half at)
:45.1 (my horse was still sitting 3rd, but now only one length off the lead)

At this point you need to calculate three of four highly intrinsic variables:......"

Can Twitter really help make you a better marketer? Maybe even a better person?

Seriously, how much is there really to say about a goofy web tool that only lets you messages up to 140 characters at a time?

After reading Twitter Revolution, I realize a LOT!

While I had messed around with Twitter for about a year, I really didn't get much out of reading about what a bunch of strangers ate for breakfast. I felt even less motivated to post response to "What are you doing?" If I didn't really care what I was doing half the time, why should anyone else?

Then I realized, much of the time what I was doing was reading books about social media. The silly book on even sillier Twitter seemed to be one of the only ones left. My guess is that if I could sit still long enough to read Gravity's Rainbow or the Glass Bead Game, I never would have ordered the Twitter Revolution. Now, I'm so glad that I did.

Warren Whitlock and Deborah Micek opened my eyes to a world that I am now arguably obsessed with; one where ease of access to seemingly superficial engagement with others is a bridge to deeper connections.

From a business perspective, using Twitter the way Whitlock and Micek describe makes "Permission Marketing: Turning Strangers into Friends and Friends into Customers" a reachable reality by beginning with simple ways to earn trust, learn more about each other and provide potential solutions to problems. Bringing a real voice [one that doesn't try to divide "professional" from "personal"] to ongoing conversations is refreshing and exciting.

I now better recognize Twitter as an amazing tool for doing just that and much more.

Book was filled with tips on how to use Twitter. Liked the style and format of the book (in keeping with the subject). Found it somewhat repetitive-- couple of themes repeated over and over ( until they sink in?).

My initial impression of Twitter was negative. It seemed to me to be a huge waste of time that could honestly be better spent. I then had the pleasure o attending a seminar with "CoachDeb" (Deb Micek, one of the authors of the book.) who succeeded in getting me interested in Twitter enough to give it a try.

I found Twitter to be an effective tool for communication and business. In fact, I liked it so much that my friends started suggesting that they needed to send a Twitter Intervention team to get me off the thing. Twitter is fun and addictive and, if used effectively, it can positively impact both your business and personal life. This book is the tool you need to take advantage of Twitter.

THe book is an easy read..I read it over a 4-1/2 hour plane flight and has information you can put immediately into use. I highly recommend it.

If you "don't get it", then you have to get "it", "Twitter Revolution"

Do you wonder what Twitter's all about? Have you created your account, but still don't "get it"? Well this book is for you!

I created my first Twitter account in July, just to see what all the commotion was about. I quite honestly didn't get it! Fortunately I somehow stumbled upon the "Twitter Handbook", which is the primer for the "Twitter Revolution". That changed everything! Now Twitter is a fundamental part of my social and business life.

"Twitter Revolution" is a must read!
