Erica and I grew up together. Well, grew up as far as 15 years old when she was brutally murdered by 2 guys that decided to play Russian Roulette with her. This book tells her story. It was sent to me by the publisher's when it was printed with a lovely letter of condolences. I hope that this book always keeps her spirit alive and saves the lives of others who have run away or are thinking of running away.

Thiss is a thriller of the James Buchan's "39 Steps" variety. It is the story of a man running away from the nuclear warheads that a bunch of religious terrorists plan to use to annihilate Britain. There is a neat tension as we wait for the first bomb to explode, then share in the the hero's mad scramble to escape which follows the blast.
The book has depth of characterization. The hero, a life-long pacifist, is forced to ask himself the question whether he is really just a coward. The drama is well sustained as the hero faces harder and harder challenges. He proves to us in the end that he is certainly not a whimp.
I won't ruin things by telling you the whole story, but just allow plenty of time when you start reading it because you won't want to put this book down until you've finished it.

8 page introduction is followed by 20 projects in chronological order depicted by photos, plans, models, sections, elevations (many technical) - all in B&W - and each described very shortly in English and Spanish side-by-side. Other projects are listed at the end - each with an index size photo. It was published by Gustavo Gili of Barcelona on 96 pages 8.75" x 9.5".

This is Pamela Watson's Great African Adventure. She used a bicycle to travel from Dakar, Senegal to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. I really enjoyed reading her account of her travels in Africa and found it very interesting. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand, I could identify with her desire for adventure and her resourcefulness in carrying her plans out. It's amazing what a person can do once they put their mind to it and I think this trip, as well as writing her book will be a highlight of her life. I think she did a marvelous job at doing both.

I purchased this book and found it so easy to understand the health concepts it contains. It makes sense and contains useful and easy to follow information to improve your over all health. I have purchased many of the Renewlife Products and my health has improved greatly since I have preformed several cleanses and am taking the daily all organic suppliment. I have twice the energy and feel just great, better then I have felt in many years. My doctor was amazed at the improvement in my over all health and became interested in reading Brenda's book to help his other patients. I would recomment this book to anyone who wants to improve their health, have more energy and maybe get off some of the doctors medicine they are taking. Another great side effect of the advice in her books and taking the daily suppliments is weight loss. After reading Essential Cleansing I bought more of Brenda Watson's book and have continued to immprove my health and weight loss. I truly believe what she teaches should be taught to doctors in medical school so they can really help and cure their patients instead of giving them drugs that either mask symptoms or create so many side effect that patients sometimes develope more problems and don't know why. It's a great book that doesn't take long to read through and understand. I say, give it a try, you have nothing to loose but bad health and extra pounds.

This book is great. I can't put it down. It is an easy read and the chapters are fairly short. The paperback is about 250pgs. I can't say enough good about this book. Please, check it out you will not be disappointed.

Great Scholarly work on the evolution of society. Presents a very good perspective on the most important aspects of international relations. A must read for any discipline.

An excellent example of Mr. Brouillette's step from realistic painting to abstraction. Great inspiration for artists who are looking for ways to stretch their skills, and their vision. I studied with Mr. Brouillette years ago, and this material is as fresh today as it was then. Mr. Brouillette is no longer with us, but through his book, we can continue to learn from his experiences.
