I love the LOTR music, and these books (I have all 3) are great. The music is above beginner level, but not impossible to play.

good, but not worth $12.71

When I first looked at the music, my impression was "This is it?" I must admit I expected more, but after playing it my opinion changed. It definitely takes intermediate skills to play as written, but with a few minor adjustments (like leaving out a roll or slowing down the tempo) late beginners can enjoy this music too.
While playing, I find the constant page turning annoying. The music could have been condensed into a smaller amount of pages without omitting any of the notes thus making playing easier.
Overall, it is beautiful. All of the well-known melodies are there. Played with the right emotion and expression, "Gollum's Song" is heartbreaking; "Evenstar" is beautiful; and "Rohan" is powerful. The music is not as complex as I had hoped, but it sticks to the notes played in the original score.
Is this a good arrangement? Yes. Is the arrangement worth $12.71? No, but I guess the higher price is for the pictures included.

Great Music for Intermediate Piano Players

The Two Towers Music score is wonderful and will be enjoyed by people who love to listen to the LOTR soundtracks. The music for Gollum's song is wonderful, and not too hard once you get it down. Evenstar is very beautiful and also very easy. "Isengard Unleashed" features "The March of the Ents", one of my favorite parts of this book. "Breath of Life" is not exceptional if you ask me, but it's there. "Forth Eorlings" is wonderful, especially the ending! And finally, If you've been trying really hard to figure out how that Rohan theme goes, wait no more. Here it is, and it's really fun! So if your at least an intermediate piano player and love Lord of the Rings music this is for you.

Beautiful pieces!

This book contains some of the best music ever written! I play this stuff over and over, because not only is it awesome, it's fun. "Gollum's Song" is a haunting, beautiful song - one that really makes you feel sorry for Gollum. "Evenstar" is also a beautifully flowing piece. It's easy to put a lot of expression in it when you play it. "Isengard Unleashed" is a more complicated piece, once you get about half way through it, and it's rather hard to figure out in the beginning. "Breath of Life" and "Forth Eorlingas" are pretty simple, but redundant at times. "Rohan" is an absolutely amazing song that just makes me want to cry when I play it. That also lends itself to expression while playing. All together, this book is an absolute masterpiece, and while harder than the book for The Fellowship of the Ring, in my opinion, it is still pretty simple, and the arrangments are much better. I highly recommend this book. It's beautiful!!

It's books like this that made me wish I had the natural talent for music, or had at least studied and practiced hard enough to develop talent. The motion picture score that Howard Shore composed for The Lord of the Rings trilogy is absolutely brilliant, and while nothing can match his magnificent orchestra, there is something unique and incredible about hearing the same music played on a simple piano -- coming from your very own fingers.

The front cover is one of the promotional posters (NOT the DVD cover as was the case with the other two piano books from the trilogy) showing Saruman from the back commanding his 10,000 Uruk-hai. If you look on the right, although it is geographically incorrect, you can see Edoras in Rohan in the distance. Inside the book are forty pages, eight of which are movie pictures. Once again, there are some gruesome orcs pictured inside, in case you have little hobbits around the house that might get scared.

The music includes:

- Gollum's Song, the end-credits song of the movie. Not very enjoyable to play, I'd say...it's a rather mournful and melancholy song.

- Evenstar, which is all-Elvish, but surprisingly doesn't provide the translation. Shouldn't be too hard to dig one up on the internet, however. The tune is pretty, the background for Aragorn's dream/vision of Arwen in The Two Towers.

- Isengard Unleashed, which begins as the soundtrack score does, with the lament for Haldir upon his untimely death in the battle for Helm's Deep. Then it moves on to the score for the Ents as they march to war. This is probably the longest in the book, maybe of all three books. Afterwards, they give the translation of the war song of the Ents.

- Breath of Life, the quiet but stirring tune/song that you hear when Aragorn lies wounded after a battle, and receives another vision/dream of Arwen that gives him a (let's all say it together now) "breath of life". Elvish lyrics, English translation at the end.

- Forth Eorlingas, my favorite one (at least to HEAR), the tune that shows the rousing of the remaining soldiers at Helm's Deep, their death plunge out the causeway, and Gandalf's near-biblical arrival to the rescue. The second-best in this book, in my opinion.

- Rohan, which was an absolutely necessary piece to include in this book. It's short, *almost* simple enough for a beginner like me to pick my way through, and beyond gorgeous. It begins with the noble theme for Éowyn, and peaks into the majestic score for the kingdom of Rohan. This one alone is worth getting the book for.

This book makes an excellent addition to your piano library, or an excellent gift for your musically-inclined hobbit-heads. Go for it.

This was a survival at sea story from the west coast of North American in the 1970's. I thought it was pretty good but the story dwelt too much on the conflict between a man who was deeply religious & a man who used to be. One man was sure that no matter what you did god would step in when he wanted to & rescue (or not) who he wanted to. I like survival stories this one just had some frustrating characters in it. Overall not bad but there are many better survival at sea stories out there.

I nearly read this book straight through, but for another reason. I met Bob Tininenko as we were boating together, heard his story and then found the book.

As someone who has a deep abiding faith in God, I found his brother-in-law Jim's approach to faith foolish, ridgid and destructive. I think that says it all.

Bob still bears some of the effects of this terrible experience, but he has gone on to live and love life. Bob is a man of honor who loves those around him and still loves the water... and he is a pretty good fisherman too.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat till the very last page. Wow! What a ride!! This true account of three people lost at sea in a capsized trimaran has several themes going on at once. The struggle for survival against all odds, the struggle against religious fanaticism, and basic human nature when it is put to the roughest of tests.

Bob Timinenko's courage and unbelievable strength was such an inspiration. On the other hand, I became so frustrated with Jim Fisher that, as another reviewer has stated, I wanted to dive into the book and shake some sence into him!

That is the way this book is. Once you start reading, you will become so involved with the lives of these three people, that you will not be able to put it down. It is way more than just another true adventure story.
I highly recommend it!

Donald T. Phillips does an exceptional job at narrating the life of the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He does an incredible job in tying in the aspects of Dr. King's life as a man, and activist together with the principals of Leadership.

He breaks down the book into 4 sections, that each details the start and end of the American Civil Rights movement. Phillips does an amazing job at chronicling the events that most shaped the philosophy of Dr. King.

I truly enjoyed this book because it helped me realize that it is possible for me to achieve my goals using the same techniques that Dr. King used. The book does a great job at outlining how a normal person can create change the way Dr. King did. Whether you live in turbulent times like those in which the Civil Rights took place or not.

I recommend this book to anyone in a leadership position to those who aspire to be leaders, but mostly to those with a goal to succeed. The knowledge you will acquire with this book is invaluable to future successes.

The book targets all, but I think it specifically aims to inspire African- Americans especially those who wish to be in leadership positions. The book in general is a great read for businesses and for groups in general. It informs the audience about the dynamics of groups and how to work through the problems that groups face.

It helps inform leaders as to the advantages and disadvantages of being a leader. Overall the book is a great read. And you will truly enjoy it.

A must read for aspiring leaders

Donald Phillips did a wonderful job of telling the story of Martin Luther King Jr. from his childhood to his death, and connecting it all to a marvelous leadership style. Being a student of leadership studies and a fan of Martin Luther King Jr., I chose this book as a study of both subjects. Having read it, I have to say I learned more about leadership from this book than any other I have read. However, I am no longer a fan of MLK......... he is now a hero of mine.

As Donald Phillips points out, for every major turning point in American history, creative leaders - right for the times and uniquely suited to the task - assume the mantle of leadership. Donald Phillips not only describes how MLK ended up at the mantle, but how and why he was the right person for the job.

MLK's movement is not the same civil rights movement being pushed by the self-serving, so-called, activists today. Read this book, you will learn about a true leader and what a true leader is. It is easy reading and inspiring. Highly recommended.

I am a student and a teacher of leadership skills, and I have found no better example than Martin Luther King Jr. This book combines the history of King's movement, but also chronicles the qualities which made King great. The text is easy to read, and fascinating. Martin Luther King, Jr. On Leadership should be required reading for anyone who hopes to impact their world. The famed Harvard psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg, who studied moral development, named King as one of the greatest moral thinkers in history. Read this book, and you will understand why.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech was voted the most electrifying public address of the twentieth century. It takes some kind of a leader to give that kind of a speech. Donald T. Phillips presents the ideals of leadership that Martin Luther King Jr. followed in an overview of the history of the civil rights struggle. Phillips describes the techniques King used at various stages of the civil rights battle. He also shares King's comments on leadership. Many of the principles will be quite familiar: listen to learn, lead by being led, awaken direct action, encourage creativity and involve the people. However, the book is especially interesting when it demonstrates how King put these principles into practice. This well-organized, well-written book is clear, direct, and easy to read. While it is written for the general public (especially for African-Americans and those interested in civil rights), we [...] find this book interesting for all managers and executives, particularly those who like to learn the lessons of history.

With the exception of Nietzsche, never has been philosophy been so much fun! Mist comes across to me as a romping Borges - by this I mean it is full of ideas and creative, as is Borges, but Miguel De Unamuno seems to have the almost girlish exuberance of the Spanish while the Argentinan stays more alof and academic.
Contemporary philosophy normally involves a trained vocabulary and historical understanding, but De Unamuno manages to make this an interesting story and throwing in bones for us to ponder. I often found myself pausing and chewing on my lip, lost in thought. Oh, and how I laughed! At one point the absent minded main character has fallen is asleep and is called to dinner by his servant. Wondering whether the voice was in his head or not he exclaims: "Psychological mysteries!"
It is a shame De Unamuno is not better known.

This is one of my favorite books of all time. It's about everything and nothing at the same time. It's a tragic love story, a philosophical quest, and a literary experiment all in one. An existential novel about how to write an existential novel! Unamuno's writing is both very funny and deeply insightful, and at the end, he has you questioning whether or not you yourself are alive. A mind-bending work, and one I have read again and again.

" Ni los recuerdos ni los suenos son tan efimeros como la NIEBLA"

This book deals with human emotions, thoughts and fears in a deep, meaningful and funny way. It has a little bit of everything, private conversations with God, the search for the true meaning of life, the quest to find an everlasting love, the fear of facing death, and the hardships that every single human faces during a lifetime.

I read it in Spanish, and I have to say it is one of the best written books I have read so far. Every single word is where it should be, and the story flows magnificently. Im sure that with a good translation this book won't lose its magic in English.

Although it deals with very serious topics, the story is simple, well written, funny, easy to read and with a very unexpected twist at the end...

It simply belongs to a class of its own.

Miguel de Unamuno was definitely ahead of his time. This is a wonderful book, full of great lines you'll be quoting (e.g., "The best mnemonic device is a notebook in your pocket."). The structure of this book is really unique, and the story is so unusual! The main character in the book wants to kill himself and the author won't let him, so the character argues with the author. Very twisted, very mind-bending, very wonderful. The writing is clever, the characters are familiar but I've never met them before, and the style is engaging. I'm off to read more Unamuno!

A Spanish Classic, DO NOT MISS IT!!!

This is the typical novel that when in schooldays, the Teacher order the pupils to read it. And obviously, you do (or you pretend that you do) without paying very much attention on what you read. Sometimes this novel do not appear in the Compulsory Lecture Program, and you escape from it. This is what happened to me...
Later, a friend of yours (in my case it was my partner) recommends you to go over it again, and you discover a Gem.
There are very little things than can be said about the plot, the characters, the language... because I risk to spoil the whole experience of reading it. But I would not avoid saying that Unamuno was one of the most clever writers that ever existed in my country (everyone has heard of him here), and that in "Mist", mostly all things that worries the Human being, such as love, relationships between men and women, marriage, the Meaning of life, the aim of Literature itself... is within its pages, and that is exposed in a very surprising and entertaining way.
As every Masterpiece, it admits many different lectures and points of view, and it might be a very good piece of literature to be discussed in one of those Book Clubs that are so popular in the States.
Trust me: Read it and you won't be disappointed.

The book has many interesting stories related to how pendulums have been used in the areas of nutrition and health, choosing a doctor, dating and relationships, selecting the right job, overcoming subconscious obstacles, finding water, oil, lost treasures, missing people, choosing a teacher, choosing right books, and many other applications.

This book was wonderfully written, yet extremely sad. A story of two very young, professional, and COURAGOUS people. What stands out most to me, is their courage. If I had found myself in their shoes, I could never handle it as Janice and her husband did. They accepted their fate and bravely lived life to the fullest. I see that Janice's mother has posted here. Your daughter was an inspiration. May she rest in the arms of our Lord

I loved this little book the first time I read it a few years ago. It's the sad, true story of William and Janice Burns and their struggle with AIDS. Janice tells her heartbreaking story in a clear, honest voice and there is little window dressing on the tragedy of this tale. It's so easy to identify with the Burns, they are so like anyone you would have gone to college with. I'm sad to learn of Janice's death, but I'm glad her mother has posted on here. Janice's words have touched many lives, far more than many other more superficial things in life.

Sarah's Song is a wonderful book that takes you on the journey of a newly married couple's discovery of their HIV infection and the struggles they live through as they battle it. There is a bit of all of us in this couple. They could have been any of us or our friends. Their story will make you cry many times. It is told intelligently and with wit and courage.I read the book in 1996 and always wondered how Janice was doing. I see by her mothers' comments above that she did not survive. I had hoped she would. Get snuggled in bed, grab some tissues and hot tea and make an evening of this book. When you are done take a look at your life and count your blessings.

To read this book has made me jealous that it wasn't me on the road having a cup of coffee with small town America and viewing the last great Norman Rockwell painting that is Minor League Baseball. From the towns, to the players, to the owners and staff, you learn of the hardships, heartaches, joys and jubilations that everyone involved with minor league baseball has. Mr. Lamb had a wonderful adventure and a wonderful idea on his journey and has a talent for putting it into words. Next time, maybe it will be me on the road.

Stolen Season is a very enjoyable read that chronicles a Summer of writer David Lamb's life. Badly needing a break from his job as a foreign journalist, Lamb decides to fulfill a life long dream of driving accross the country visiting as many minor league baseball parks as he can. Although baseball games are the intended stops, his encounters with the people around the country are just as important, making this an enjoyable read whether you are a baseball fan or not. This book has inspired me to make an effort to visit more minor league parks where the game is still just a game. Make it a point to check this book out.

Mr. Lamb's use of baseball as the backdrop for this narrative of travel and rediscovery is entrancing. Though my enjoyment of Stolen Season was enhanced by my love of the game, I have passed this book around to friends who have no interest in the national pastime and they have enjoyed it as much as I. The vividly described scenes and characters are a delight - from the hills of West Virgina to the California Valley - from the aspiring pitcher Monson to Hurricane Bob Hazel, a player that lived the dream one fall many years ago. Outstanding!

David Lamb's summer through the minor leagues is one of the most outstanding baseball books I've ever read. He writes like a storyteller and really makes the reader care about every team and player he writes about. These players, particularly in the low minors, really play baseball for the love of the game and the chance they might make it big one day. Lamb also takes the time to make the local color of the towns he visited come alive. With all the problems of Major League Baseball now, this book will remind you why you care about baseball.

A kind of minor league baseball 'Travels with charley'

As I read this book, I was reminded a bit of Steinbeck's old book, "Travels with Charley." In both books, the reader is treated to a commentary of "life on the road." However, in this case it's following the author as he travels across country in his RV to watch numerous minor league baseball games. How many of us as baseball fans secretly wish we could do just that? How many of us however actually have the time and more importantly the finances to do this?

While the book is dated, it still is well worth a read. The author describes the dreams of numerous minor league ballplayers to make it to "the Show," but points out only one out of every fourteen actually makes it to the big leagues. And not only is this book about their stories, but the stories of numerous minor league towns, and the people the author encounters. He also gets to meet and talk with several of his boyhood idols, players from the 1957 Milwaukee Braves. Some of the stories of these people are sad, some hilarious, but all of them are quite entertaining. I've recommended this book to a friend with a son who aspires to be a "big leaguer" someday, because it entails some of the hardships involved in getting there. This book is a travelogue of places where time has seemingly stood still and the players are gods, even if they are only minor leaguers pursuiing a dream.

The characterisations of Luthor and Superman were done in the same way, even if, due to the nature of the antagonist here, there was not the same amount of byplay between the two old foes. The plot centres around a time travelling post graduate history student, coming back to find out the events surrounding what they call Miracle Monday.

Forget what Byrne and the others have done for/to Superman. THIS is the real Superman and Lex Luthor. In this, Lex Luthor is not a maniacally-laughing, hand-wringing super-villain trying to "take over the world." He's a man with emotions and motivations--in other words, he's believable. In this novel, and Maggin's other great novel Superman: Last Son of Krypton, both characters are real people with real emotions and you will grow to love them both in different ways. Pick this book up and I promise you will not be disappointed in the versions of Superman and Lex you find here.

This was one of the best prose adaptions of Superman. I haven t even read it in years but I remeber it fondly. I really wish todays comic writers would all read it and focus on quality not quantity. If you are interested in Superman as a comics fan or for his mainstream sell this book is a great read (although some things about Mork and Mindy date it a bit).

...and find the only two books (that I know of) that Mr. Maggin wrote in this series. I remember reading them nearly twenty years ago and loved them then.

Time has only made me appreciate the writing even more. Not only are the characters drawn with a finer hand than in the movies, but you really get a feel of the heroic dimensions of Superman. The personalities, the history, the sheer scope of what it means to be a superman are all made as realistic as you could imagine.

The synopsis has been written about in earlier reviews. I'll just say that of the two, I preferred Miracle Monday somewhat more because of the intergalactic scope. But the first book was great as well.

If only there had been more in the series. These books are on my shelf of "oldies but goodies" and I when I'm looking for a great read, Mr. Maggin's books never fail.

This is why Superman has endured so long.

Since the popularity of Kingdom Come, a lot has been made of 'that' version of Superman. His influence is felt throughout Superman comics and on the Smallville TV show on the WB. But even the story's creators, Mark Waid and Alex Ross, acknowledge the debt they owe to Elliot S! Maggin. While Chris Reeve was making us believe a man could fly in the cinemas, Maggin was turning out these masterpieces of writing based on, of all things, comic book characters. In this, the second of his two novels (check out Last Son of Krypton also!) Superman must undergo a truly neverending battle, as C. W. Saturn, Hell's agent on Earth, harries the hero twenty-four seven: upending buildings, causing plagues of frogs, exposing Supes' secret identity, and for a big finish (and this is just a terrifying moment) setting off every nuclear weapon on the planet simultaneously, which, by the way, is handled MUCH better than the anti-nuke issue in Superman 4. Maybe they should have read this thing. Superman must circle the globe over and over again trying to head off the fiend's multiple menaces. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is carrying on in one of the subplots with the style and humor that make Maggin's interpretation of these characters the best ever. This book is a real companion piece to the first, but can be enjoyed alone. People who prefer a little more darkness to their superheroes can also get something from this. Particularly disconcerting is the flashback to when Pa Kent realizes that his adopted son's absolute power could make him a champion of all mankind - or Earth's greatest tyrant. The scene where Jonathan Kent is diggng for the buried fragment of Kryptonite and Superboy comes out of the ground to confront him is chilling to the bone. To those who only see the Pre-Crisis Superman as the child-oriented humerous comics of the 50's and 60's, this book would be a real eye-opener, and maybe broaden a few horizons back to a time when the larger than life affectations of comic book characters were treated thoughtfully and used to tell mature and entertaining stories, rather than today's tendency to lock them away from sight like a mad relative in a period romance. Check this one out.

Every OB, pediatrician, and expecting mom should read this

As the mother of an intact 3-year old, I am shocked and saddened that so far all his playmates were circed. When I dare to ask their moms why, they say things like, "So he'll look like his father. Because its hygenic. It looks better. So he won't have to go through it later."

These women clearly were not given the facts by their doctors. If only they had read this book. I don't see how anyone could allow their child to be circed after reading this comprehensive, referenced, and easy-to-read book.

If you are pregnant, you need to read this book. If you know someone who is pregnant, you need to give them a copy. If you are a medical professional, you need to read this yourself and recommend it to your pregnant patients. If you are an OB, you need to put copies of this book in your waiting room. If you are Oprah, you need to invite Dr. Fleiss on your show and possibly, in one hour, change the fate of millions of unborn baby boys.

Dr. Fleiss has done an incredible service in writing and publishing this book. We Americans need to stop circing our boys, and this book can help accelerate the turning of the tide.

This book is a must for all parents AND physicians

Just look at the table of contents and you will see that this very readable book is a reference gem. Full of facts that are generally not taught in medical school, yet presented in layman's terminology that is easily accessible to everyone, Drs. Fleiss and Hodges have provided invaluable information for health care professionals and the general public alike.

For too long, open and rational discussions of circumcision have been taboo within our society. This book sheds light on virtually every aspect of the topic, illuminating a vast array of issues, uncovering medical myths, and providing practical answers to misunderstood questions.

In the same way that Dr. Benjamin Spock's handbook was utilized by generations of parents and their doctors as a guide for child care, I hope this book will grace the bedside of new parents, and be mandatory reading for all physicians in training.

An excellent resource for parents

This book provides solid data with plenty of sources about the dangers and misunderstanding surrounding circumcision. The author writes in a way that is poignant, yet easy to understand, and addresses common questions such as "Is there any good reason to circumcise?" "Does circumcision prevent AIDS?" and "Isn't circumcising healthier?"

Clearest and best book yet.

I have probably read every book on the subject of male infant circumcision. So, in Fleiss' and Hodges' book I was expecting a repeat of the usual information. I am delighted to say I was wrong; and, I learned a lot, too.

This book presents the truth about non-therapeutic circumcision in a straight forward and easy to read fashion. Whether you are a parent questioning circumcision, a survivor wanting to know more about your body, or a human rights activist needing a solid background of information, I highly recommend this book. It has become the first book I suggest people read on the subject. Dan Bollinger, Executive Director, International Coalition for Genital Integrity www.icgi.org

The book I've been waiting for!

All children -- boys and girls alike -- deserve to keep their genitalia the way nature intended. I have the utmost respect and praise for Dr. Fleiss and this book. He clearly outlines the history and hysteria behind this unnecessary, painful surgery, and details the numerous reasons to leave your sons whole, intact, and uncircumcised. We've all heard the "myths" of why circumcision should be performed; now it is time to hear the truth of why it shouldn't. If you only read one book while pregnant, this should be it.

I liked this fast reading book about a wagon train after the Civil War. It's about a mother's struggle after she got word that her no-good husband got killed on his way back after the war involving her boy, two orphans and a young friend. I recommend this book for an enjoyable read.

This story highlights that not all of the heros that arose during the war were in uniform. I laughed so hard at times I had to take a break from reading to compose myself. The author does an outstanding job of weaving the element of humor is the midst of horrible difficulty in a way that makes Addie, Trisha and the children real and dear to the reader. This story is a must read!

This was a good little romance novel. It wasn't steamy by any means, but it had lovable characters. This has Colin Tallman from The Listening Sky when he was a boy, so I wish I would have read this one first.

Marvelous.

Recently most of the historical romance novels published have a serious problem -- they feel contemporary! Although the stories draw around a historical theme, the setting is never truly felt! This is not a problem with the 1995 Dorothy Garlock classic YESTERDAY; here the reader arrives, lingers, and never leaves the historical setting. Ms. Garlock smoothly shows off her characteristic, wonderful talent -- her wonderful talent to cast a setting and her extraordinary ability to write romance.

Her husband was dead, but the news did not produce one moment of shattering grief for Addie Hyde. Her love for Confederate, soldier Kirby Hyde was long gone -- she didn't have time to recall the man who went away and left her -- alone and pregnant. Now Kirby Hyde was but a fleeting memory and the love she once felt for him -- dead! In any case, Addie was far too busy to grieve; she had other important things on her mind - her small-assorted family -- her dear family that embodied three children and one very dear friend. No Addie Hyde was far too busy to grieve over the man who had seduced her, then reluctantly married her, and finally left her . . .

John Tallman was in Freepoint, Arkansas on his way west to New Mexico Territory. The unexpected sight of Addie Hyde staggered him. For the first time in his life, John Tallman's feelings stunned him. Addie stunned him. Her fiery character, her bright mind, her intense spirit stunned him. But more important, his desire stunned him. John Tallman needed Addie Hyde -- he needed her to be his wife, his lover, his friend.

John Tallman is a reading HERO - in every sense of the word, Dorothy Garlock successfully delivers John Tallman into her reader's mind as a 'man's man'. Rest a sure, this 'man's man' will not let Addie Hyde nor her children down! Calmly, Garlock's brings her reader into her macho web of brilliance and the reward: reading bliss. YESTERYEAR is a great book -- from its setting -- to its lead characters -- to its splendid secondary cast -- unquestionably, Dorothy Garlock delivers a dazzling story!
