I found this book at a local thrift shop and purchased it for my daughter when she was 12 months old. She is now 21 months
old and still loves this book. It is an interactive book because you have to find the kittens on each page. As my daughter
gets older, she is beginning to count the kittens as she finds them and it amazes me that she still asks me to read this book
everyday.

At the heart of this charming story lies a meditation on the uncanny power and beauty and mystery of music. The watercolor
illustrations are quite lovely and fit in smoothly with the mood of the tale. It took me just five minutes to read, but
I immediately wanted everyone I know to read it, too. (Makes a great gift for your favorite church musician!)

This is a fantastic childrens book. The storyline about the two canines, one just discovering what it is to sail, and the
other wise and knowing, flows extremely well. The drawings are absolutely fantastic. Even if you have no sailing experience
or interest, this is still a great book. Good parallels to non-dog life.

Backflap:
The former Miss Minerva Braithwaite thought it a promising proposal when the lord whom she had shamelessly snared into wedlock suggested they go to Paris for their honeymoon. But all too swiftly that promise turned into peril for her hopes of happiness.
First the fearfully handsome, infuriatingly arrogant Lord Dominic Claireux refused to touch her on their wedding journey. Next she discovered that waiting in Paris was the ravishing Lavinia Winterton, who had broken Dominic's heart once, but who now was eager to make amorous amends.
Somehow the beautiful Minerva had to find a way to melt her husband's icy reserve and best a hot-blooded rival for his love. And clearly it was going to be a game of enticement and intrigue that only someone as daring as Minerva would gamble on winning...
This is a wonderful book. It has everything I particularly enjoy in a Regency. Lady Minerva Braithwaite is the daughter of an earl's daughter and a mill owner, a very rich one. She is intelligent, honest and does not allow misunderstandings to occur. Dominic returns from Waterloo after his father's self-inflicted death to a mountain of debts and a nasty rumour that he might have been the murderer of one of his fathers debtors.
The growth of the love between Dominic and Minerva is entertaining and believable. I found myself cheering constantly at Minerva's tenacity and abilitiy to see what really was instead of what might be. The villain in the book was fairly obvious, but still added just enough to make the story work.
I do wish that Dominic's character could have had a little more depth but that is the only thing missing in this book. I highly recommend this to any Regency lover.

I read this book in the class for Reading time.
All my classmates had read it.
My favourite character is Theodore MacIntosh. He is the one who helped to catch James Barry, who murdered Wellington Moses' friend. After we read this story, we had a project to make a board game of Cariboo Gold Rush. It was really fun. I want to own a copy of this book, but there's none in Amazon.

Excellent Companion to the Game

This strategy guide isn't completely essential if you just want to get through the game with just the bare necessities of
Musashi's power ups, imagicards, and items. Although, if you're like me, and you absolutely hate the feeling that somewhere
out there, there's an enemy mocking you for having missed a treasure chest, then it is essential.
This book is well written and thought out with things having been placed in strategic locations throughout the book. Also, thankfully the author is kind enough to have left out many spoiler aspects of the game's story, especially near the end of the game. I found very few grammatical and spelling errors, and I was quite pleased with that, as I find it hard to read books with spelling errors and such. Maybe I'm just a picky person. The book's design was wonderfully done. I ended up taking it along on trips just to view all the pictures they included of the characters within the story.
Overall this book is quite essential to those who wish to get every single upgrade, find every single imagicard, and do every single side-quest in the game. Also, if you like staring at the type of graphics from Musashi: Samurai Legend, this is also a very neat thing to have.

I just love Melanie Walsh books! We've been reading them to our daughter since she was an infant and at 2 she still loves
them! They're education, bright, simple to understand and yet not boring (huge plus!) and most importantly, funny! My daughter
loves them! "Do Lions Live on Lilypads" is another favorite by her!
