I don't read many mysteries, but I came across this book some time ago and was pleasantly surprised. It was a quick read,
and had the same style and elements as found in books by more well known mystery writers. The characters were believable
and distinct, the story had enough going on to keep me guessing, and each chapter ended so I'd want to go on to the next one.
Once I got into it, I found it hard to put this book down. All in all, I'd recommend this one to anyone who likes a good
mystery novel.

This book, and the life cycle of an apple, will definately be useful this coming school year in my Prek class. The pictures
are great and the text is detailed enough to educate yet not too lengthy for PreK to primary elementary school age children.

If you are doing a unit on silkworms or insects, this book is a great resource for educators. The book offers many wonderful
photographs of each stage in the life cycle. Every page has a timeline that shows the life cycle of a silk worm. The text
is brief and informative, perfect for younger students.
This book can also be used to teach students how to read informational text. There is a table of contents, bolded words, glossary, and index. Highly recommended!

Description from the book:
This festive collection of poems, carols, and prose is full of the joys of Christmas, from the decorating of the tree and the opening of presents to the Nativity story itself. Favorite carols are here alongside yuletide prose by Charles Dickens, Kenneth Grahame, and others, as well as verse from poets such as Eleanor Farjeon, Christine Rossetti, Ogden Nash, and Walter de la Mare. Beautifully illustrated, this small hardcover book is an enchanting way to share in the spirit of Christmas.
Caroline Walsh has edited a number of poetry collections including the titles in the Little Book series. She lives in England. Sophie Allsopp is a popular young children's book illustrator. She lives in England. Published by Kingfisher.

Mika Takei is a top-notch assassin trained from a young age to kill MOB members. MOB is a criminal faction attempting to
seize control, and she is one of a small group of assassins fighting to break their stranglehold on Naru city. When her mentor,
Shiro, hires her to assassinate a MOB related POI Mika reneges, unwilling to break her own code. This sets the blocks of
Mika's life tumbling down. MOB recruits lurk in alleyways with their own hidden agenda. Too bad they don't realize that
it's going to take more than a few henchmen to bring down Mika Takei.
If you're looking for nasty baddies, sexy bishounen, down and dirty action, big guns, flashing knives, and hot sex, then Little Kunoichi will more than meet your requirements. You may have noticed that the romance factor doesn't make the list. Mika comes off as the more love-them-and-leave-in-a-hurry type, which makes sense; being a professional killer makes dating a bit awkward. Her preference seems to be take-out sex with a well-built male, bad guys included, to satisfy her out of control sex drive. The guy closest to Mika to fill the `relationship' bill is Irie Kosho, a bishie-lucious fellow assassin who's determined to keep an eye out for Mika. I could tell Irie has something up his pretty sleeve for Mika resembling commitment. Mika is in denial of her true feelings of course, since trust is not something any assassin can afford to give away freely.
Little Kunoichi is a cyberpunk thriller with a feisty, tough protagonist that knows her way around the bedroom and the weapons armory. I'm definitely interested in finding out what happens next to Mika and Irie.

A cute little story, in a cute little shaped book with a message about teasing or playing too hard. The littlest snowman's
hat is blown off by the North wind. His friends, other snowman, try to help him get it back. Then the horses from the barn
and the birds from the trees try to help him but the North wind keeps it out of reach. The littlest snowman gets tired and
gives up. It is then that the North wind realizes he has gone to far and he apologizes, " I wasn't trying to be mean. I just
wanted to play." The littlest snowman and all his helpers play with the North wind all night long. The illustrations portray
the North wind as having the upper body of a child, which makes the message hard to miss.

Here's the fully revised, expanded classic on the impact of death on families, using the editors' dual framework to outline
issues of recovering from loss and how a family's loss affects different generations and relationships. New chapters unique
to this second edition of Living Beyond Loss: Death In The Family add discussions on spirituality, gender, suicide and other
traumatic deaths, as well as discussions of loss in different cultures.
