I enjoyed this book and so did my 2 year old. We have squirrels in our backyard. Beautiful illustrations and fun to read no matter what age you are.

My 10 year old son absolutly loved this book. Didn't want to put it down until he was finished, then was sad because he had finished.

The Lights Are On helped me understand why schools are the way they are. I'm not an educator, but the book was easy to comprehend. It seems to have been written for "the rest of us." It was fun and worthwhile. I recommend it for anyone who wants to really understand education in America.

Linking Nutrition to Mental Health is an essential book for anyone working in the mental health field. It will be best understood by dietitians, but is written so that everyone can understand the science. I recommend the book to all those living with mental illness and their families, as well as the professionals. The topic of nutrition and mental health is covered so thoroughly that I now have a great resource always at my fingertips.

A Little History of Ireland is a small, charming book which contains a few pages on each major event in Irish history and accompanying illustrations. There are fourteen subsections dealing with specific events, such as "The Flight of the Earls", "The Battle of the Boyne", and "The Easter Rising". The book begins with the arrival of Saint Patrick (believed 423 AD) and ends with the end of republican resistance to the treaty forming the Irish Free State in 1923, and in between it contains a surprising amount of concisely stated information. It is quite well writen and a wonderful way to familiarise oneself with Irish history without pouring through massive volumes. 59pp.

This book combines Mr. Abbey's "insider" photography with fascinating text. (Mr. Abbey was an employee of both the "old" and "new" Soo.) My favorite chapter details the development of the fantastic Red-and-White Soo paint scheme by the author.

A "must have" for any Soo Line enthusiast and my favorite Soo book.
