The Catholic Church has declined in power over the centuries, but their presence is still strong. "The Chief Rabbi, the Pope,
and the Holocaust: An Era in Vatican-Jewish Relations" is the story of how the Catholic Church related with the Jewish people
during the tragic years of the Holocaust. The Catholic Church's efforts to stave the Holocaust were not the best, yet for
some reason, Israele Zolli, the chief rabbi of Rome's Jewish community, praised their acts so much to convert to Catholicism,
a decision which causes uproar to this day. A picture of a strange time and strange action with intellectual explanation,
"The Chief Rabbi, the Pope, and the Holocaust" is solid reading for religious students.

I used to frequent Carl's Pagoda Restaurant in Chinatown in Boston. This was the best of all the restaurants in Chinatown.
Carl Seetoo was a master chef and took great pride in the freshness of his ingredients and the personal presentation of his
unique culinary delights. His clientelle was wealthy and extremely sophisticated. No Pu Pu Platters at this place. No menus
either. I always would bring Carl a wine opener or captain's knife as a little gift when I dined there with my wife (in the
1980's). One evening I brought in my well-used copy of Wallace Yee Hong's "Chinese Cook Book". Carl and his wife spent 2
hours copying recipes like mad from this little book. I could not believe how amazed and thrilled they were about finding
long-lost recipes and techniques contained in this old book.

Carey Wallace has one of the most fluid, engaging writing styles I've recently come upon. Her novel, CHOOSE, is a highly
innovative work -- a "choose your own adventure" novel for adults -- and an enormously addictive read. The novel boasts more
than 70 unique endings, more than enough to keep even the most dedicated reader busy and engaged. But more than that, Carey
Wallace's evocative prose captures a wonderful noir mood, casts her setting in sepia tones, and renders her characters as
three dimensional people, yet somehow ghostly at the same time.
This is the first book from a very talented young writer. I've enjoyed reading CHOOSE, and have given the novel out as gifts, particularly to those readers who feel that they've "seen it all." I look forward with great anticipation to Carey Wallace's future works.

Dr. Sullivan reveals to the worldwide Christian community the ancient secret of becoming rich and powerful that has remained
hidden in the Bible for nearly 2,000 years! A Christian Study of Wallace D. Wattle's Science of Getting Rich is a serious
analysis of Wattle's principles of accumulating wealth from a Christian perspective, with ample scriptural references. Sullivan
shows how Wattle's famous work was actually inspired by Biblical sources and is in perfect harmony with God's plan. The book
blows away the popular misconception that Christians should be poor, powerless, and pitiful. Sullivan challenges Christians
everywhere to "get rich and do God's work on earth."

I purchased this book to help prepare the CVOICE exam and found it a useful supplement to my other prep material. I had trouble
finding Cisco material for CVOICE. This book includes a practice test as well as flash cards and a summary of key concepts.
It is written by the same trainers who present the excellent Knowledgenet course.
I also used it to prepare the QoS exam. There my principal resource was the excellent Cisco Press book by Wendell Odom and again the Knowledgenet Express course. I think that this book's test is a bit easier than the real exam, especially for the simulations, but still quite useful.
Since it also includes prep for the Call Manager Exam, it is really a bargin. Three practice tests and flash cards for about the price of one (inexpensive) practice test! I wouldn't recommend it as the main resource for any of the three certs, but it is quite worthwhile as a review tool when you think that you are getting close to ready.

From the author's original poetry about Red Wing in the front, to the catalog pages in the back, this is the most comprehensive
guide to Red Wing area stoneware I have ever seen. I borrowed this copy from my father, as it's nearly impossible to find
around here (and I live somewhat near Red Wing.) The author has a tremendous sense of humor, and the book brings life and
personality to the artisans who created such wonderful pieces of functional art. Book also features several wonderful pictures
of one-of-a-kind "lunch hour" pieces, those made by the workers over their lunch hour for informal competition and to bring
home to mothers and wives. Highly recommended for both the casual collector and those long since bitten by the bug of "Red
Wingus - Collectoritis"

I purchased Wind, Rain, Clouds and Snow. Wonderful short science books and very easy for young readers. My 5 year old twins
love to read their 'science' books. It is difficult to find simple non fiction books for this age group, but these are perfect
fit.

His book apparently was written in two different periods and probably the first part was ready in the early nineteen's and, later, the Particle Classification Scheme has been updated: we cannot but agree with him when, at page 272, the author affirms that "No longer can a 'unique' FDR particle be described as such as they occur from nonfirearms sources."
Two personal remarks. I feel the absence of a paragraph describing the formation of GSP and the absence of a general bibliography.
In my opinion it is an highly recommended book for forensic scientists seriously working on Gunshot Residues.
