I loved this novel, and found it to be hilariously funny. It's all about looking for a perfect man, when he's right underneath your nose. Although it was funny, it was a tad predictible. The type of romance novel in which you basically know what the climax will be and where. However, if you're looking for something humurous and juicy, I say, go for it.

As a consequence of scientific specialisation economists tend to know quite little about computer science, and very often IT specialists are igoramuses of sorts in economics. Wagner's study tries successfully to bridge the gap between computer science and modern constitutional and institutional economics. Relying on Nobel-Prize Winner Hayek's seminal work on liberal and selforganizing social order the author gives a very accessible introduction into the prerequisits, principles and achievments of an order, that will most probably be of the greatest importance for the further development of IT: a liberal order of a society of free software-agents serving free human actors.

"Sojourner Truth" provided many facts and interesting things that Sojourner Truth did, howver, it did not keep me interested for long, I felt that too many details were put in one place and I did not feel that I was in the book. Overall, it is good for class projects, but not that good for a free read.As I read, I learned many new things I did not know. Another good thing about this book is that it is short. There are about 90 pages in it and is clear and understandable. Even if you are in 2nd grade you could probably understand it.

Since I was picking up the "Judge Dredd" offerings from DC Comics' 2000 AD line, I figured I'd pick up some of the other books while I was at it.
"Strontium Dog" is a series created by Dredd-creators John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. Much like the Dredd-verse, "Strontium Dog" is set in a distant post-apocalyptic future. After a nuclear war, strontium-90 pollutes the landscape, causing genetic mutations. These mutants are outcasts (shades of "X-men"), with very few rights. Their only option to get ahead is bounty hunting, becoming Strontium Dogs.
The protagonist of this series is Johnny Alpha, whose mutation allows him to see through anything, including into people's minds. His partner is Wulf, a normal person with great strength and a stereotypical Scandanavian accent. Also in tow is a creature known as the Gronk, an alien with great healing abilities, very little physical courage, and a penchant for speaking like Jar Jar Binks.
While Johnny Alpha's world is not quite the biting satire that Judge Dredd is, it is an action-packed one. First, Johnny and his group are taken captive by a savage warrior race. Then, while on the trail of a rogue strontium dog, Johnny and his gang must fight their way through a hell-like dimension. Finally, Johnny travels back in time to capture that arch-fiend, Adolph Hitler.
This volume is a nice action-packed romp. If you like Judge Dredd, you'll like this.

The 2007 version of this book is measurably thicker than this 2004 version. I wish the Tax law reflected that! Our office thinks this book should be titled Tax Opinions not Tax Facts, as there are so many disclaimers stating this is just our opinion. Still, a valuable reference for many.

Of all of Wagner's operas Tristan und Isolde uses the most symbolism and imagery. While it is true that the music is the primary means Wagner uses to convey the meaning of the opera, it is recommended in he case of Tristan und Isolde, to familiar with the libretto so when viewing the opera you will be able to concentrate on the music with conveys the works' true essence. The translation here uses proper english and a literal translation of the orginal german.

Altho' this book was originally published quite awhile ago, with the amazing resurgence of game shows, the tips outlined in it are still valid and potentially lucrative.
For anyone interested in making it through the screening process...and getting to the point of actually becoming a contestant on a game show, this book provides some solid information from someone who speaks from experience, as a TV game show winner himself.
