Just One Mo is based upon a group of friends that fail to fit in with anyone outside of their dysfunctional circle. Although
they are a group of mis-fits, this group of kids despite of their harships in life realy know and value the true meaning of
both brother-hood and sister-hood. Mr Wagner, you have outdone yourself with this one.

Kangaroos are beautiful, exotic, intelligent and mysterious animals. Largely found only in Australia and New Zealand, kangaroos
are recognized all over the world but little is known about their true habits. This book explores the kangaroos' world, including
social, eating and mating habits. Many, many other topics are covered as well. Although it is written for young adults,
any age group will find this book highly interesting and entertaining. Readers will walk away with a whole new appreciation
for these wonderful animals!

Pete Dykes is one of my favorite authors. The true story of Kinnie Wagner and his run in with the law in the early 1920's
is told from the observant eyes of one Pug Potter, the multi-faceted and opinionated driver/entrepeneur. The story is fluid
and very well-written. Two thumbs way up.
Kinnie Wagner was a true cowboy, a sharpshooter with a quick draw pistol, and he was wanted in Mississippi and captured in Tennessee after shooting some lawmen that went to ambush him on the Long Island of the Holston River. Pug Potter's journal "The Kinnie Wagner Story" is a unique collections of observations before, during and after the trial. It's like reading a Louis Lamour novel in first person. Good Reading!

This book is excellent! It's a quick read that is packed with useful information, and full of interesting pictures of Mr.
Hughes himself, and the classic Harlem Renaissance. It's perfect for any book report or just for pleasure. I would definitly
recommend you take advantage of this book for its many great features. Though it only has 112 pgs, the print is quite small,
it isn't a very small book, and it has dozens of great pictures in each chapter, + its got a time line, and gives you some
great choices for further reading!
I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in the great Langston Hughes, whom was the ultimate afro american poet!

Three government officials have been murdered and a Ute may have been
killed on a remote part of Colorado. Jurisdiction seems to overlap between
Federal, state, local, and tribal officials with everyone tripping over
everyone else except the killer, who seems to have gotten away with murder.
Denver homicide detective Gabe Wager has no jurisdiction so he is assigned
to solve the case and end the bickering.
....... Gabe quickly realizes that he not only has to uncover a killer's
identity, he has deal with all the various police authorities who have one
thing in common: the desire to boss their compatriots. This leads to a lot
of chiefs and one worker, Gabe. He soon realizes that there are plenty of
motives and subsequently suspects. However, if Gabe does not identify the
murderer soon, he will either go insane from the constant bureaucratic
bickering or be killed by a murderer, who wants him out of the way.
...... Rex Burns is a great mystery writer, who always provides an intriguing
and exciting novel. His latest book, THE LEANING LAND, is a fun read that
refreshes Gabe Wager by placing him outside his element. The various law
enforcement agencies add a Catch 22 comedic remedy to solving the mystery.
Anyone who bets on reading this novel, will win their wager.

In this story, Dredd is sent to take over command of a neglected sector house (that's a police station to you denizens of the 21st century) in Mega City 1's North West Hab Zone, a sector which exists outside Mega City 1's border and which is known as 'The Pit'. This sector is a dumping ground for every misfit and renegade judge in Mega City 1. Dredd's task is to clean up 'The Pit'. He soon finds that being a sector chief requires different skills than patrolling the streets of the mega city.
'The Pit' lacks the political undertones and perhaps some of the humanity of 'America', but it makes up for that in a great script which stresses character development, plot complexity, and action. These attributes are brought together seamlessly to give readers one of the best all-round experiences of Dredd's world from the perspective of the Judges.
'The Pit' is a great introduction to Dredd's world. New readers will be blown away by its storyline, its characters, and its action sequences. If you're one of the many people who was dissatisfied by the Judge Dredd movie, 'The Pit' will show you why the real Judge Dredd has so many devoted fans.
'America' (the other truly great Dredd story) is still available as a graphic novel (though, like 'The Pit', it's currently only available from third party vendors), and I urge everyone who is intrigued by Dredd to get both titles - they complement each other wonderfully. If you get the chance, read them both (read 'The Pit' first, then read 'America') - you won't be disappointed, and if your only experience of Dredd comes from the awful Stallone movie you'll be introduced to a far deeper character and a far more interesting world.
