This book continues the story of Anne Nelson, begun in A Little Maid of Provincetown. In this book Anne's exciting adventures during the Revolution continue. I highly reccomend this book.

This book tells about Ellen Elizabeth Barlow. Ellen, called Ellie, is a little girl who lives in Connecticut during the American Revolution. Ellie has many adventures. She goes to visit her grandmother and is able to deliver a message to the American Army.

Annette is a Patriot girl in 1783 New York. Her best friend is a Loyalist. The war is over but the British still haven't left New York. Still, Annette hopes and prays they will, and when that day comes, Annette is among the triumphant Americans that cheer.

Ruth Pennel and Winnifred Merril are two girls living in Revolutionary War Pennsylvania. They are both Patriots. Ruth overhears a British soldier and is able to help the Patriot army. I highly reccomend the whole Little Maid series.

Anne Nelson is a little girl in Massachusetts during the Revolution. Her father goes to join the American army so a kind couple take her in. Anne has many adventures. This is a great book!

I am 14 and I live in Denton Texas and I have the "Lone Star Justice" book. It is very educational for a person who is taking a course in school about criminal justice. I love the book and I hope there will soon be more books that the two Authors will write together!! Take my advice this is a great book so check it out!!

Book One of Tiffany Turner's Crystal Keeper Chronicles series, "The Lost Secret of Fairies" follows elementary school student Wanda as she discovers that the world of fairies is real and that somehow she has become the Crystal Keeper, the human caretaker of the world of fairies. They grow ill from the pollution that is so plentiful in the human world and now Wanda must find the cure, while answering the assorted questions that have struck her as she falls into this predicament. "The Lost Secret of Fairies" is highly recommended for children's book shelves as the perfect bridge from picturebooks to young adult novels. Children 7-11 will love it.

I have had this book for almost thirty years - it always bring me pleasure to look at the lovely pictures, many of which are in The Library of Congress - American Folklore Collection - great book -- buy it!

I can be forgiven for my enthusiasm over the publication of The Lovable One-Niner. I have long since been a fan of this remarkable little airplane. Anything that passed as a reference source for the history of this airplane would have been most welcome. What delighted me, however, was the meticulous nature of the contents. A writer could not attain this level of detail unless he loved his subject. Clearly Mr. Thompson did. With equal parts of this book given to both the technical and personal history of this airplane, I have been able to share it with non-pilot friends who enjoyed it from a purely historical perspective. I am very pleased with the results and have recommended it freely.

After reading "Luxury Leisure for Less", I found myself getting excited about all the low-cost activities I would have on my kitchen calendar in a couple of months. I think this book has timeless information that can be used by anyone who does not want to spend a lot of money to have fun. The information provided in this book could be used in the city or in the country--it is universal information. I even plan to use some of the basics leisure for less tips during my next vacation to Paris.
